You're pinning a causative narrative on something you're not certain of. NVDA had more sales through the pandemic, not necessarily because of the pandemic. For all you know they had contracts penned in 2018/2019 that were being satisfied this year. There's been plenty of development towards things like Stadia from many companies, and those are all GPU demand drivers on a huge scale. Because of the hardware the 2000 series cards are very appealing for render farms, much more so than any previous generations.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but there are hidden variables you might not be considering that will be important going forward.

It depends. There are tiers of wealth, some peoples wealth is tied up in their business. These people don't have huge amount of baller cash like people think they do. After that, there are those who are all from income. if that income stops, they're broke, like fallen celebs. That is why time frame matters. If this is retirement money and you are risk averse to leveraged instruments than it doesn't really matter. The stock market at worst will be pinned to inflation as a result of fiscal and monetary possible and may suffer what will appear to be horrifying corrections at times. But if your timescale is decades all bull and bear markets are blips compared to the overall trajectory of the index.
They are self cleaning so if there is overvalued or dotcom-esque trash it will eventually be purged for you.
