>Tellurium is a chemical element with the symbol Te and atomic number 52. It is a brittle, mildly toxic, rare, silver-white metalloid. Tellurium is chemically related to selenium and sulfur, all three of which are chalcogens. It is occasionally found in native form as elemental crystals. Tellurium is far more common in the Universe as a whole than on Earth. Its extreme rarity in the Earth's crust, comparable to that of platinum, is due partly to its formation of a volatile hydride that caused tellurium to be lost to space as a gas during the hot nebular formation of Earth,[6] and partly to tellurium's low affinity for oxygen, which causes it to bind preferentially to other chalcophiles in dense minerals that sink into the core.

At work I googled some boomer precious metal forums since 4chan is blocked obviously. Pretty unanimously lots of minds on there think silver is going to tank soon, hard. They make sense, but the black swan is, when the game of musical chairs stops and their system crumbles. Essentially the argument is that faith in the dollar is a national security issue, and the Fed will do everything possible to keep metals from mooning because if they are perceived as money that is as if the US government lost a war and they can't and won't let that happen.

Has me thinking more and more that silver mooning is a pmg chamber notion... These boomers are so comfortable selling their stacks at 30 because they're old enough to have lived through both 1980 and 2011

I was around for the 2011 run, didnt have what I have now, and I sold off most of my stuff around that time too.

here is my opinion on what is different now, or why PM's can moon
1. Pm's mooning wont affect the USD, sure many people invest in them due to loss of faith in the USD or banking system, but the same can be said for throwing all your money into stocks. Gold can go to 10k+ or silver to 1K and it doesn't mean jack shit to the vast majority of people who do not hold any, just as TSLA can go from 300 to 2k+.

2. last time there was a lot of things to be done to kick the can down the road, QE 1 2 3 and infinity, interest rates to 0%, ect now that stuff is already being done prior, and while its being ramped up significantly, ramping it up is good for PM"s, not doing it would crash the system, also good for PM"s

3. mass worldwide unrest, maybe people in your circle or in boomer circles are not talking about it, but most people I know, from both sides of the fence are extremely dissatisfied with the status quo.

4. covid 19 bullshit

5.rising authoritative state faster then the slow boil of the frog rate.

Everyone knows about it, but I've yet to see that many people actually invest in it despite it being next to platinum and copper as the teritary choice for PMs. I think it's probably just because it's les well known than Plat, and because it had just peaked on a bull market before the coronacrash, but even then it's got good growth potential.

I really am tempted to pivot to uranium after PMs have their run. It fairly obvious that solar and wind aren't going to cut it for green power, so in theory progs would eventually have to face reality and give nukes their day again.

...but then I think, nobody ever made money betting on lefties facing reality, and also, they're obviously not interested in fixing climate change, it's far more useful to them unfixed.

So, idk, as much as it makes logical sense the world ain't logical.

arsenic is a better preservative, the copper-based has electrolysis issues with steel nails, so nails have to be zinc-galvanized, or better, stainless steel, neither of which are cheap, not to mention the straps, clips, and hangers all have to be galvanized too. And the ACQ leeches out faster over the years too.

NGMI. How can anyone look objectively at the direction this country is headed and not see the writing on the wall? The demographic change alone is a ticking time bomb. Add in the unsustainable debt, the fact that our bubble markets collapse at the slightest hint of rate normalization, the growing wealth inequality and there is simply no way the feds keep this circus running indefinitely. Every empire and fiat currency in history has failed eventually. It is a question of when, not if.

The only way I see our government(s) openly nationalizing resources is for a major war (3). At which point, the shit doesn't matter anyway.

Nice 33 dubs. I'm with you on that timeline. Recent events have clearly been ramping up the volatility and there is no reason to believe the chaos won't continue to spread. The election will be a big indicator of where things will go from here, but the nation's course in the long run won't be affected all that much beyond the pace of decline.
It honestly baffles me that so many normies/boomers can look at the problems facing the country and believe that things will get better. Virtually every metric is signaling the crises worsening. It seems like they'd all rather cover their eyes and ears than face what's coming. As if this "pandemic" is the only issue, and once that's solved everything will be a-okay.

I know that feel anon. I think stacking and other types of prep are an admission that things won't stay the same, or a recognition that there's a real possibility things could get worse. Another point to consider is people aren’t like us. You’d expect people to be rational, responsible etc.. because you are but hell something like 20% of people don’t even have an internal monologue. 100 is the average IQ in America that means half are even lower than that. Majority are sheep, then it’s the awakened class with good genes, chosen by God to be the sheperds and the light in the world, facing off against the (((wolves))) led by satan.

Checked and very good points. We'd like the masses to be rational and act for the long term like us, but if they were waking up and panicking, it would almost certainly be a sign that we're too late. Most people won't realize what's happened until shit's already hit the fan.

Exactly just be happy that you’re given the gift of foresight and understanding. It can get really lonely when you’re the only one, but through sites like this we’re shown that we’ve been right all along. Although there’s more responsibility that comes along with it, ‘ignorance is bliss’ until you wake up and it’s too late to deny it anymore. At least we have time to prepare mentally, physically, financially and spiritually for what is to come. I’m not saying it’s going to be a revelations end of the world type event, but at the very least, extremely hard times are coming sooner rather than later

I've seen a few blokes around Creswick Vic with that combo (mainly cause the gpz7k is already too heavy without a big coil) and it does the job. There's probably quite a lot of decent pickers in the soil but you'd be unlikely to find them with a coil of that size.

Probably about $6k AUD to buy, not to mention how much they've paid for the claim, but hard to complain when you're pulling nuggets that size
