Try turning $1 into $10. That's pretty hard, right? You'd have to 10x. If you've got 1m you can make more plays (they have to be safe though) More plays = better chances of profiting. There have been lots of times in the past where I would have made literal bank if I had enough money to make certain plays I wanted to at the time.

Pro tip for you niggers that like day trading options: look for a delta of 90 or above that way the negative effect of theta is kept to a negligible minimum and your option will be most sensitive to the movement of the underlying making it easier to predict based on whatever TA voodoo you're using on the underlying's chart.

bond yields would go down when the dollar goes up and JPOW is the worst poker player ever, already said he's not raising rates anytime soon. Problem is banks need even lower rates to meet their lending needs which aren't being met. I'm betting they will crash the market to get their lower rates and more QE, thus sending the dollar higher again, yields lower and bonds up. just like what happened in march and in the GFC. Research can only take you so far. A lot of times, the market can only make sense in hindsight. "Market did X because Y even though it wouldn't have made sense to assume so at the time."

This is where so many people mess up. People try to cheat the market, they think it's some kind of numbers game they can beat if they research enough. The truth is, you really only need fundamentals because this isn't a numbers game, but rather a psychological game.

Conventional logic would state that Precious Metals would have shot up in March because of the crash and uncertainty, but no, they actually went down. Why is that? People were scared. People aren't robots, they feel fear, anxiety, worry. I said it before but the reason psychology is the reason a lot of resistance levels are seen on multiple of 5, 10, or milestones (I.E, stock has been crabbing between 24.50 and 24.75 and finally manages to hit 25 and then tank.)

>1050% rise since May 2019
>~490% rise since covid valley in March
>PE ratio 1041
>Monthly RSI 89, Weekly 84, Daily 78

Can it keep going? Sure. Meme stocks can continue being stupid for a lot longer than you think. Will it encounter a violent retrace at some point without index bearish pressure to help (like March)? Probable. Either that or it hits the crab for a lengthy period of time as happened from 2017 to 2019.

I suspect a lot of people are buying in as a product of lowered interest rates. Despite sales being down (-20%) YoY, somehow used car prices at auction are up 30% in some cases. I don't know how to intuit that. Personally I'm leaning towards manipulation, especially with the Hertz + Advantage bankruptcies and the way their fleet purchases were arranged (or Hertz's at least). I can't imagine that the payment deferrals, and thus default halting could possibly effect prices to a 30% upside. I can hardly believe anybody is buying at auction given those rates.

You're appending a narrative where none exists. You don't know why gold went down in March. Nor do I. In hindsight we can point at the paper market and all the bullshit you have to do to get into proper COMEX trading (contracts are 100oz), and the liquidity issues that it brought on, which triggered a selloff on long positions forced to cover on margin or whatever. Physical is intractable though, it doesn't even really adhere to spot. So really paper traders lapsed because banks were having liquidity issues and margin called which forced a selloff. Also of note is that spot only fell 14%, and I wonder what kind of premiums were being charged during the March selloff for physical, 'cause if it was better than 10% it really didn't dip in relationship to the dollar.

How do we short the housing market?

Here's why housing prices are high. Prices are set when willingness to pay meets willingness to sell. Right now many people aren't willing to sell, partly because they're getting huge stimulus and they can't be evicted. Meanwhile many of the 50% who still have jobs are working remotely so have the option to move out of cities also have the means to overpay because of low rates and the willingness to overpay because they really want to move out of crowded cities and to the burbs. The prices are set by the people in the market now. They're not forward looking at all. If anyone would be forward looking it would be the investors, but they're inside the bubble and can't see it. Once the makeup of the participants in the market changes, the prices will also change. When and how this happens will depend on some uncontrollable factors and in how the fed and government respond by creating currency out of thin air.

It's not true. If you have large money you can do shit like sell covered calls on amzn, which returns are far better than selling covered calls on, say, amd by % of investment cost. And that's just a really crappy example. A better one: you can outright buy out companies which are trading under their NAV and force them to liquidate everything and pay you (this is what warren did, he never really invested in companies for real). You can invest in safe-stage startups (when they've already managed to secure 20m in funding and they're about to go to market). You can do real estate if that's your thing.
None of that is possible if you don't have lots of money to start with, and all those options give far better returns than you could get otherwise.
