Operating engineer. If you’re in calfag territory this is your best bet. Building engineering doesn’t always mean you do hvac.. you do plumbing and electrical and a lot of other shit. I have learned a lot and I now can literally go to any city in the US and get a job with the skills I’ve picked up working at many different buildings . The fact I am union makes the real difference in pay out here.

University/College is just a playground for young adults to be degenerate heathens and get a slap on the wrist for doing shitty things. Anything you're taught in university can be learnt in a week of dedicated studying.

Universities stopped being places of education centuries ago. Now they're just a club you can join if you agree to take on debt/are rich enough, with the only thing you walk away with is a few cool facts and a shiny piece of toilet paper.

Education isn't power, knowledge is.

I don't think I'm an engineer, 'cause engineering fucking sucks. In fact, I wouldn't expect any less of a graduate from a shitty school than to kick my arse when it comes to engineering things.

It's just that I don't actually care about the high-end engineering labs and the software suites. Almost every product that appeals to the lowest-common-denominator isn't some "cutting edge" tech, it's shit that has been around for *decades* and is just cobbled together in a slightly unique way.
>he thinks you need a high-end engineering lab to make a shitty electric scooter and pander it to people
>he thinks you need an 80K software suite to program "the uber of hookers"

Innovation is dead; research and ""science"", at this point (unfortunately) are no more than money laundering schemes for universities, kind of like how most modern colleges are just football teams with education as a side-hustle.

The market and industries for every trade from every walk of life are fucking memes now, kek. There's no light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to working - the only way out is to escape, and you need to either become self-sufficient, or you need to start producing income through something that you own.

Working for someone nowadays is no better than slavery, just because of how shitty companies have gotten at treating employees.

The virgin collegiate. I really doubt any of my college work is enough to convince someone to get me a professional well-paying job. I'm too retarded to get a job like that. My career that I want is light years even farther from my job as that as the job market for that is even more ruthless and callous. Whoever believe college degrees get you somewhere are wrong and those who do get a chance to get a job with a college degree always have some innate ability that grant them that. I'll always be the peasant or plebeian of this world anyway. Can we cut the shit? $80k in 2020 is fucking poverty tier. If you make 5 figures right now, you are literally a "stimulus" welfare recipient. $80k is fucking welfare income in 2020. Everyone and their mom is making well over $100k these days. If you haven't gotten 10% raises every year for the past decade, holy shit your company probably loves your ignorance of market rate.

Anyone with a BS and 3+ years experience should easily be pulling $100k BASE, and with stocks so high I don't see how anyone isn't making at least their salary again in stock incentives.

Yeah, a tradie will make a good wage straight out of training... for a high school drop out. And the pay scale barely grows without working crazy overtime. Yeah, there's the one guy who is the only one who knows how to something, and works 100 hours a week and makes $200k. Meanwhile the average joe programmer makes $200k twiddling his thumbs for 30 hr / week, and pay scale is exponentiation with promotions.
