2.0 will be the game changer, and no other so-called "competitor" will be able to catch up with the adoption and usage already established on ETH. The only thing ETH deserves to be shit on for is its scalability (rightfully so), but once PoS comes online, all that goes away, and you essentially have a system whereupon the token value NEEDS to go higher and higher in order to better secure the network.
