A DAO is a system of governance that is put inside of the blockchain so the people – the communities that use the blockchain – and different people that create the blockchain itself can vote on matters to make developments and changes that need to happen.

When we build a blockchain, like Ethereum or Bitcoin, these are huge projects that start from the ground up. There's a ton of coding, a ton of development that takes place to get those into functional projects. And one thing that we have an issue with are these DAO systems.

DAO systems are very complex. The problem that we continue to see is the fact that as we build these blockchains from the ground up they often have flaws. Some of those flaws, even small ones, can completely inhabit and make the blockchain useless. So all this work, development, can go down the drain from a tiny flaw, ruining the whole project.

What CBDAO is, is it's a sandbox. It's a platform where you can create, test, and run your own DAO systems. You can drag and drop what you want to see and do inside of that system so if there is an issue that you can't foresee happening you don't have to build the whole blockchain up and get it ready only to see it all crumble because of one small error.

With CBDAO, you're actually going to be able to program, build and test your own DAO systems.

Why use CBDAO?
- Costly to come up from scratch & audit.
- Ability to govern the project before actually going live
- Cross-promotion - all projects would want to attract users who are familiar with DAOs and governance protocols and approaching CBDAO will be a good way to attract members of this niche.

CBDAO is allowing other governance token holders like YFI, Maker, Compound...etc, farm BREE. This community is already filled with tech-savvy and DAO users.

CBDAO publishes research reports with every consensus protocol experiment

Use case: projects can use CBDAO's research reports as a reference before going live with their own DAOs. CBDAO can partner up with other projects as a research partner and become an advisor in this area and charge them fees. It's a mutually beneficial relationship with cross-promotional effects. Fees charged can be used to buy back and burn BREE from the markets or be airdropped to BREE holders to create additional value for long term holders.

There's nobody doing this except for MAYBE DAOstack and Aragon, but they are more focused on their own products, not research and partnering as an advisor. CBDAO is a regulation free sandbox, which means literally everything can be tested without any pressures to play by the rules.

The sky is the limit for experimenting and proof testing consensus protocols. This means they may quickly become the most innovative and the best research source for (non-scam) DAOs.
