Yeah, I know what you mean. The past week or two has been crazy and my dopamine receptors are completely burnt out from constantly checking /biz/ and the exchanges to see how much I'm up.

It's obviously the same entity that was driving the pump in the first place. They saw it was getting media attention and started a dump to shake out other buyers. If you actually want to cash out you don't cause a dump like that, you gradually dish out your sells.
It could also be a short like in the Zeus dump, but the negative narrative on LINK has long sailed and there was no LINK borrowed on Aave, so I believe that's unlikely. The price of Aave as a counterparty goes up gradually the more you borrow, so it would be worth it to take some from there even if you are operating with a private OTC counterparty as well.
