This is a kindergarten level argument. Bitcoin has value people people have assigned it value as proven over a significant period of time (8 years?). It has weathered so many market forces that it no longer needs to prove itself to most people. This fund is what I would call a huge experiment. I'm 99% certain the devs have trading bots set up to take advantage of uniswap price fluctutations, and by trying to stabilise it as much as possible by calling it an "index fund", their bot trading becomes more... not predictable, but potentially safer.
As a side note, I can't believe I'm responding to a legal retard.
