I’ve been day trading for ~3 years now. The volatility of link actually makes price estimates in short term quite predictable. Allow me to explain.

Factoring for announcements, dev team sell-offs, whale dumps, etc., if we look at a trailing average for 1w as well as 1mo, you can project a band for uncertainty. This band in conjunction with a linear regression can be used to forecast pricing with a high degree of certainty (~1 std deviation). This is pretty common of most cryptocurrencies actually, with the exception being trx. Boy was that a big cringe oopsie! Yikes. Moving on.

Having that projection we move onto the actual prediction. Currently with a ~$16.50c daily moving avg and a projected linear regression, we can expect 1 of three scenarios to occur:

1. Scenario 1: price immobility. The price can stay where it is. This is significant because you will not be making any interest on what you have invested, underperforming a more stable investment such as an index fund.

2. Scenario 2: price decline. A trailing average over a longer period indicates we may be due for a correction. This is significant because it opens the door to a realized loss, which may impact your financials significantly.

3) Scenario 3: to the moon! I mean, this goes without saying. Tendies, know what I mean? :)
