OP metals are a comfier hold than crypto for the sole reason that they have a longer history of being valuable, and a point often overlooked is that the only place where we question their value is in the USA... across the world people recognize gold and silver are valuable, and that applies to many EU countries.
You have a floor to your investment, whereas with crypto, we all believe that crypto has fundamentally changed everything etc... but it could go down.
Hold both, hold one or the other.
Both have scarcity, even if we started mining asteroids, they still have value.
might want to wait a few days though gold/silver playing around rn.
