Uhh bros, I think I fucked up. I wanted to buy some moonshot coins on uniswap so transfered 10 eth to metamask. I put in a buy order for 10 eth for parsiq, but canceled it at the gas fee stage. Then I put in a new one for 5 ETH and saw all my eth removed from my wallet. Ofc I panicked a bit and tried to cancel the parsiq order (I did, it's canceled) but my 10 ETH is still gone from the wallet. Did I seriously fuck up or should I wait for it to return to my wallet?

It likely went through and you have the parsiq in your wallet. did you add the custom token address under "add token"? 0xfe2786d7d1ccab8b015f6ef7392f67d778f8d8d7

Yes I did that, got the etherscan ID from coingecko and added the coin to uniswap with it. It says the transaction is through but i havent recieved anything yet. How long does it usually take for something to appear in metamask from uniswap? isn't it instant? I'd be gutted to lose 10 eth from making a stupid mistake. First time using uniswap after hearing so much praise from everyone.

Thank you, yes. You have to add the token manually. Other than that small detail, Uniswap is the best. Remember, even if you forget to add the token manually, it's still there. You can verify by plugging in your eth address to etherscan and looking at your token list.
