Why can't we start using things like Kleros as they are designed - but for new coin projects?

Example.. let's say instead of "investing" in the coin and the team getting the money - first we all put the money in Kleros smart contract.

Then AFTER the team delivers the product / network or whatever they are promising... THEN they get the money.

This would totally eliminate coins/teams just gaming us with not delivering and/or false promises and vaporware intended to just pump coins and take our money!

For those who don't know how Kleros works:

I like it. It's like a crypto commission.
If we get the furry porn artists using it, we'll make a killing.

Yeah but this board willingly buys scam coins thinking they can outsmart the scammers so idk

>> No.21631644

It would be a great idea if Kleros itself wasn’t a scam.

I think something like Kleros for cloud-sourced mortgages has potential. Stake-holders vote on reliable credit holders and loan money which is paid back to the blockchain with interest.

If you default, we have your info and come molest you.

Yeah, like would they still get paid if they tried and failed because of unforeseen technical issues?

the video however does state crowdfunding, this is very similar to crypto crowdfunding, but in return we get tokens/ coins. Maybe there's a bit more info about this in their papers about crowdfunding.

Doesn't kleros have a uniswap fork or something that does a similar thing? Where the community can vote on projects that get listed? Not exactly as good as yours but could be useful for the locked liquidity thing.

>> No.21632927

This is literally mentioned as a use case in the whitepaper.

>> No.21633800

So what happens if they don't deliver? Does the smart contract have the money getting auto-refunded to all participants or something? And if so, don't jurors have incentive to always deny the releasing of the funds? Sort of like someone pulling a credit card chargeback scheme.
