Don’t listen to XSN shills, listen to an expert.

When a good Layer 2 dex exists there won’t be any Layer 1 dexes as they will be redundant.

how does a token/coin get listed on a p2p dex like stakenet? anyone explain? i'm brainlet.

on a cex you give a certain amount of tokens to the exchane right, then they hold them so that there's enough liquidity .... on a dex, as dex's are currently, the token creator usually adds liquidity to the pools right? and then other people add to the pools to get fees.

what happens on this dex?

XSN didn’t delete anything a community member did and it wasn’t even that big of a deal. He was replying to someone who said they were going to start researching XSN so all he said was “have you seen this vid of Andreas talking about Layer 2 DEX tech like XSN” and linked it.

Now Andreas took that as though wolf was saying Andreas was talking about XSN specifically when he wasn’t at all he should have just stuck a comma in the tweet “Layer 2 DEX tech, like XSN” but no big deal. He apologised anyway and deleted the tweet to clear up the confusion. Love how fudders are trying to cling on to this and make it into something when it’s nothing.

Andreas is a tech guy so regardless of how he found out about XSN his curiosity will get him to dig deeper which is nothing but a positive for XSN

As far as I know they can, but if they are listed on a CEX anyone can run an aggregator to pull that liquidity to the Stakenet Orderbook

In Stage 3, anyone can host a token through their masernode. They basically just host the orderbook.

It'll be relatively easy for any token that has LN or Raiden compatiable to just list themselves on the exchange.

In the medium term I think the team said they would add any token that had a MN.

1 Node is enough to make it. Put it this way

Stakenet will be the first dex to allow for lightning cross raiden trading

Bitcoin alone is huge, consider how much transaction fees are on-chain.

At 1 billion MC (which is nothing) that puts xsn at $10.

Can anyone tell me how staking rewards work exactly? Is this basically just based on "luck", that some transaction gets approved by your stake and then you immediately get the rewards. Or is there some central thing tracking what happens during a certain time period and at the end of that period stakes are handed out? How is the amount of XSN playing a role into this?

I'm asking because I let my wallet with about 1000 XSN run for about 3 days, but didn't receive anything so far. I temporarily needed to shut it down, to do some maintenance. So will this basically make the 3 days count for nothing and when I start again, I'm basically back to zero?

As someone who owns masternodes and regularly lurks in the discord server, it is really disheartening how many fucking retards there are trying to "help" the project by being illiterate morons who pounce on every opportunity to mention the DEX. I wish these chucklefucks would just shut up and let things develop naturally, instead of constantly raising red flags and making the project look like a PnD scam.

Can someone post fud so one of the retards in the discord can screencap it and ask in there because they’re dumb as shit and believe anything on here. preferably make something up thats believable yet detrimental to the project so it scares them and they dump. Kthxbye

>Is this basically just based on "luck", that some transaction gets approved by your stake and then you immediately get the rewards

Yes.
https://stakenet.info/staking/calc
Staking 1000 XSN will earn you a block reward approximately once a month. Don't even bother. Just put it on the cloud and at least earn a little of the pool's share each day.

>> No.21624449

>>21624378
I have a home server running 24/7, so it's not a problem for me. I suppose I don't need a static IP for it? But that means it's not a issue if I take the wallet down for a couple of hours for maintenance and shit?

>> No.21624547

>>21620856
how much is making it for you?

2 nodes will net you ~10 xsn per day in block rewards. transaction rewards scale per volume and 90% of fees are split equally among the nodes. fees are set at .25%, and there are approximately 2500 nodes right now, so if there's 100mm in volume fees for your nodes look like ($100mm*.0025*.9)/2500 = $90 per day, paid in xsn.

so, if we went live tomorrow and you had a Hydra node, you'd be making (90 + 10*.4)=$94 per day, approximately. your block rewards will scale with xsn price, so if xsn hits $5 you're making more like $140 per day, not $94.

you can assume that over time nodes will go up and fees will go down, at least until pricing starts to hit psychological barriers for cash out (1 node = $20/30/50k etc).

I don't stake, so I don't know the specifics of it, but I believe that having a network interruption, closing the wallet, etc. will reduce your staking weight. It takes time -- something like 24 hours -- for your wallet to reach max staking weight, which determines how frequently you receive block rewards. It's something like that. Again, I don't stake, so I don't know all the details.

Also keep in mind that your wallet has to be unlocked in order to stake, which I would consider an unnecessary security risk, but it's up to you if it's worth it or not.

>> No.21624708

>>21624590
You can unlock it only for staking

>> No.21624747

>>21624590
Yeah I just read up on that 24 hour thing. I guess it's fine, but it also kind of sucks, because every so often I want to update my router or have to do other things that might require a router restart.

The good thing is, the wallet doesn't need to be completely unlocked. There is a "unlock for staking" option, that prevents funds from being moved around without the passphrase.

I try to keep security somewhat reasonable, with running the wallet in its own VM. So I personally feel more secure than on that cloud thing.
