you're so lucky that you have found 4chan and are lurking on /biz. just do what /biz tells you to do and you will be rich. /biz is weaponized autism for investing. i got on biz late 2016, but started investing Q2 2017. late 2016/beginning 2017 ETH was heavily shilled here at $8, i think almost everyone on /biz had atleast some ethereum. then in first half of 2017 eth had an amazing run(it peaked at $400). around july 2017 during my holiday antshares(neo) started to get shilled at $8, which was basically a cheap chinese version of ethereum. eth was down to $200 at that time and seemed to have lost momentum. so neo seemed like a good bet. then in november/december link started to become heavily shilled(and still is the #1 coin on /biz) it was around $0.30 at that time. there where some anons who had done a ton of top quality research on link, and you must have been stupid to not go all in on link at that time. link sits currently at $19.40 and shows no sign of stopping.

so if you just follow biz you could have made 2,500%(eth 8$-$200) * 400%(neo $8-$32) * 6,500%(link $0.3-$19.4) = 6,500,000% (6500x your money).

so if you decided in 2016 to spend $1k into eth because of /biz instead of buying the latest playstation, you now would be sitting on $6,500,000 and could have retired now.
