>> No.21495669

$zano will be next big thing. It makes my big thing so fucking hard.

>> No.21495942

Of course not. But there is only a few big things every year so keep an eye out.
Don't fall for the scams. 99% of /biz/ is scams, never put more than an amount you expect to lose into a week 1 coin, and always DYOR plus look for natural discussion before investing decent amounts

Funny people were telling LINKies it's too late, now LINKies are telling others it's too late. Some things never change

better buckle up kid this is only the beginning

I simply let biz do the research for me, and I pick coins based on both quality of memery and hardcore near religious dedication to the project.

>> No.21496004

>>21495653
No, there is a new big thing every 2-3 years.

Researching is hard when everything outside of official sources sounds like either blatant shilling or FUD. How do you sort through what to actually listen to?

been here since 2016, this lmao
was kinda late on ETH in late 2016, had countless people in 2018 tell me it would never happen again
bought and held link, still haven't sold

maybe the number of good projects with strong longterm fundamentals will decrease, but there will always be plenty of alts to speculate on while crypto remains relatively small compared to trads

>> No.21496081

I don’t get why people care about link so hard... I’m a holder and I have plenty of bags that have outperformed my link bag in the last 6 months

>> No.21496095

>>21495653
Nope. There will always be more. people that missed ETH were able to make it with LINK. people that missed LINK will have an opportunity too. DeFi is the big thing now. Find good DeFi small caps and go for it.

>> No.21496160

We're still waiting on a true "eth killer". You'll know it when you see it.

Check the website, look at the team, read the white paper, use your best judgment on if the project sounds like a legitimate thing.
Even if the project seems smart, try to ask yourself "is there a reason this coin had to exist for this project?"
If the answer is no, like with [TRANQ], then it's a scam. Other notable scams going on are STA (anonymous team), WAIF and Shrimp (shitty meme names, no purpose), and 99% of other coins out there.

Also monitor portfolio threads, just don't trust the portfolios where someone is all in on an alt coin, or 90% in on the most recent trend (right know LINK) and 10% in on some random altcoin without a signed address verifying it, since that's just stealth shilling.

>How do you sort through what to actually listen to?
takes a lot of browsing. it took me nearly 2 years of browsing to distinguish.
it also helps to be in a discord/telegram with people you trust, makes research easier.

OPQ, get in or be left behind. Working product, free entry storage. Mobile app in the works.

You could have 1000x without LINK throughout the last 2 years.

>> No.21496471

Oh here's a great example that just entered the thread
>>21496370
Language like "working product", "getting left behind" etc are to generate false sense of security followed by a FOMO to get you to buy into their pajeet rug pull. Especially when they occur in a thread where a novice is just asking for advice. Pajeets are soulless and will do anything to take your money.

Look into pnk. I mean, actually DYOR. If you don’t see it as a strong buy at the end, you failed the IQ test and should Kys.

What's your opinion on something like Kleros then? I've been seeing it get brought up a lot recently so I looked into it a bit. The jury system seems interesting but mixing monetization and staking with justice and other subjective decision-making sounds risky to me, but the use case seems important and the coin itself a necessary component of incentivizing juror work.
