For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

you are actually right, buuuut (that's supposed to be a big but: ) it's about satiation (or whatever you crazy americans call the feeling of not being hungry).

with a fat or protein rich meal you are more likely to feel less hungry throughout the day + theres some weird effect about water retention with eating less carbs that in the end pans out to be not relevant at all but in the beginning is very motivating for people because they subjectively get the feeling they are losing weight faster

so yeah, you are right actually but there are some minor psychological advantages to eating a less carby diet.

if you want max weight loss there's a threshold of about 20-50g carbs per day to stay in ketosis.
Personally, i don't do keto, but the weight loss results are undeniable and immediate if thats what you're looking for.
A more sustainable long term I've been doing is simply cutting out all grains; rice, beans, bread, pasta etc. basically primal/carnivore but I still eat seasonal fruits, fermented veg, and tons of dairy. At it for going on 2 years.
