Restarting the thread as I had to go out last time and I didn't get to everyone's. Answers below

I think XSN is on track for a 12X from here, after 8Xing from when it was initially shilled on Biz. It has actual tech that solves an actual problem in crypto - and can handle it quicker and faster than uniswap. We've seen dex volumes grow, so there is room for a fast layer 2 dex, and any moderate amount of volume really makes this price laughable.


Questions I didn't get to last time:

1. my fear tries to convince me theres secret whales with extra MN's they are waiting to kick online thus taking the lions share of the profit and leaving anyone with less than like 20 high and dry but thats just my own brain FUDing me

My Thoughts: It would have to be a hugge whale, and it would just rebalance rewards back to staking. Even an extra 1k masternodes does little to change trajectory based on current market cap.
2. First I've heard of this, any news sources talking about Monero on LN? &
what's the prerequisite for xmr to enable LN?

My Thoughts: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/ho5ibv/xmrto_added_lightning_network_payments/ XMR.TO has advised that you can pay LN invoices directly with Monero. So there is integration work happening here in some respects.


3. is this a concern for you at all OP/ do you see DEX's eventually integrating L2 so that aggregation from them will be possible?
My thoughts: it'd be good for more aggregation, but I figure CEX liquidity is enough to kick start the exchange. With enough people coming through it will have its own liquidity.

4. also will Eth 2.0 make this point moot?
My Thoughts: On-chain will always have capacity constraints. Been hearing about eth 2.0 for years

5. Why would you wanna rap into dex though? You know this is aimed at professional traders right? Most volume happens on a CEX.

My Thoughts: Lots of DEX volume growth - quarter on quarter. Comfy knowing that is happening, the switch is occuring to some extent. Big pie, only need a piece.

7. Assuming a project does that with their own coin, how does another masternode holder benefit from it if that project will get all the fees? They don’t?

My Thoughts: Latest state of play as I understand it, is a order book runner can run the book - gets some of the fees. Some go to burn, some go to other Masternodes (who help secure network). But that's down the line, and lives in a world where the central order book gets taken down (which is run by the team). Irreguardless XSN holders benefit.

Dex launch is soon, then Raiden this year. From where i'm sitting if you are putting $2k USD and can make it $5k - $20k i'd probably do it.

Cause when you have $20k you can then invest in the next big thing and turn it to $200k. So i think your plan has to be a two step plan.

In that case, I think it is still worthwhile for you to pick an investment like XSN and take a shot.

That's what people said about BTC, ETH, LTC, Link, etc. There are always people earlier than you (and me). I'm more interested in trying to make $$$. Someone making more or less is inevitable. Good projects keep rising over time, you just hold.

I would NOT take such a leveraged position on Link, it's insane, it's not even gambling - you will get stopped out on a stop hunt. Do lower leverage or take the same return probability and lower chance of getting killed on a promising low value coin. if you don't believe it is XSN that's fine, but your 20x lev link plan is insane.

Like above think about it as a 2 step plan. If you buy 1 MN now ($7k) and it becomes $50k. That $50k next time becomes $400k.
