Is this book based or cringe?
I only seem to see wannabe make-it fags reading it. All the high school burnouts I knew who are "getting their real estate license" keep talking about it.

>reinvest your money into appreciating assets instead of spending it on depreciating assets
There, now you don't need to read the book

read millionaire fastlane to hate on wagies as well

It’s a good book for normal fags that don’t understand the basics of managing your finances. If you are a npc taking on lots of debt on credit cards, vehicles and other stupid consumer shit, this will help. Won’t help anyone here on biz.

if you've been a wagie your entire life, then it's a pretty good read

This. It is probably a good read for people in their teens who likely never learned anything about wealth or money from their loser parents or school system, and want to understand the basics. Amazing how many people don't even understand what a positive cash flow is.

Pretty much this. Books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Millionaire Next Door are great starting points for people who waste their money and don't save or understand opportunity cost. If you're already frugal and enjoy investing you won't learn a lot. My personal favorite is The Richest Man in Babylon though because it's like one giant LARP.

Every now and then I'll skim through them again just to feel good about myself that I'm playing life intelligently.

It's the only personal finance/investing book that has meaningfully helped me. Not that I have that many books on the topic, but most are boring garbage.
