Workforce at a bunch of big name facilities are not at full capacity and treated wood flying off the shelves. I've seen local lumber mills struggle a great deal too, so the big names like LL and WY are snapping up as much business as they can right now. There was an anon here who went big on LL a few months ago I think too. I think there's still some room for LL/WY to run up but maybe there are other better plays. LL did run up a shitton already the past few months. WY is up from 13 to 28 but still not at previous 2020 ATH so I think WY is a nice comfy play for lumber guys who aren't doing futes.

I posted this a few weeks ago but I'll share it again. This is the Put/Call Ratio charted with the CBOE SKEW index. Seems to be a good contrarian indicator. When the SKEW is high and the Put/Call is low it usually indicates an incoming correction. Basically when the lines move apart it's either a buy or sell signal. We've been getting a sell signal for a while but this indicator is not great for accurate timing. Look what happened during March in pic related. The SKEW went to rock bottom and the P/Call went way up indicating a fantastic buying opportunity. Right now the SKEW has remained elevated with rock bottom P/Call ratio. Usually the correction occurs once the lines converge but again it's not great for super accurate timing more of a general market sentiment indicator.

This was partly the reason I started investing again. It was mainly after that big correction in June and into July that I decided it was reasonably safe again.

However, yesterday I got out of AAPL and MSFT completely. It was an extremely emotional decision and not predicated on much more than anxiety, so anyone reading this, take it with a grain of salt. I just think the recent price action with AAPL has been completely insane, earnings and split be damned. Leaving MSFT might have been a little dumb.
