I'm new to biz and just bought my first $500 worth of crypto, I read a lot beforehand and determined that buying USDC on coinbase then converting it to LINK was my best way to avoid getting raped by coinbase fees

Why does it say its only a 7.24 fee but I only have $490?
Did they steal my $3?
Also, am I gonna make it?

>> No.21401233

The price literally fluctuates by the second

Seriously I can't even tell anymore if these screencaps are larps or not. On no planet will you make it with 29 Link, but you will have a decent $30,000 portfolio at the peak

>> No.21401352

>>21401233
That makes sense. I guess I just didn't expect it to fluctuate that much in less than a second, which is the time between me clicking convert and me looking at my portfolio balance

$30,000 sounds pretty okay

I may be new, but as far as I can tell, Chainlink is nothing like Ripple.
It looks like there are 247 projects that rely on chainlink, and will be paying chainlink nodes money for data feeds already

Who is paying ripple for anything?

would you mind linking me a transaction on the ripple blockchain of a bank paying ripple money for their software?

thats pretty cool actually, i've been trying to find information about the tokenomics of ripple
what exactly causes the XRP token to increase in value?

as i understand it LINK tokens are used as collateral for nodes that feed data to smart contracts, with the nodes requiring an equivalent or greater amount of collateral than the smart contract they are servicing

what kind of incentive is there for XRP to increase in value? could XRP do its primary job at 1 cent just as well as it could at 10 dollars?

Should have never came here. I've turned a profit from investing in biz shit but I know my life would have been better off if I didn't find out about crypto.

I am hear with you. I bought 145 LINKS, so I wont ever sell because whats the point of not riding it out for 2 years?

That's something I couldn't really tell you without researching further myself, but it would most likely come from the disgustingly high trade volume ripple aims to achieve. These guys will be no joke if the banks approve the use of ripple (due to it's high speed, low fee, controlled and well maintained system) the daily transaction volume would be melt your face fucking nuts, think of how much shit goes through even small banks an hour.

This would be the reason for it's price to increase. If the fud is real however, your worst case scenario is a stable coin that doesn't lose you money (hopefully)

Idk i find it all really fascinating, I work in SecOps and i honestly think blockchain has a place in the future. Whether or not its blockchain supported by publicly traded coins or its private ledgers, i'm not sure.

The Coinbase app has a ton of built in slippage, you probably paid at least $.15 more per LINK than the market price anyway.

You'll get $.15 less per LINK when you sell on that platform as well.

Don't listen to that faggot. Banks wouldn't adopt a third party crypto currency, they would create their own so they can have control. XRP shills have been preaching about muh bank connections for years yet the price still sits at peanuts
