Loopring is an Ethereum Layer 2 protocol that allows for transactions that cost a fraction of a cent and are confirmed immediately, all while maintaining the same level of security and self-custody as the Ethereum blockchain. It achieves this by using a new construction called zkRollup, proposed by Vitalik last year.

Loopring has created a proof-of-concept DEX that you can use right now to trade and send ETH and ERC20s. The DEX is growing fast in liquidity and new pairs are added consistently.
