Any hobby I have focused on in the past seems to become a consuming devotion. I'm thinking of doing physical activities. Hiking camping kayaking etc. because at least I can do it with others and it tires me out

Yeah man that sounds cool. A bunch of my friends backpack/hike regularly - they'll pack enough food for about a week, a bag of essentials, a small tent or an insulated hammock, and hit a trail for 4-9 days at a time just to get away from shit for a little while. There's nothing wrong with being passionate about or being consumed by a hobby btw as long as it doesn't impact you or the people around you in a negative way.

I hope to make it one day too. Somewhat selfishly for myself but mainly for my little brother. I don't want him to grow up in poverty like I did.

I think I have to get my priorities in order if I want to have a hobby. Schedule time per week for it instead of spending hours upon hours on it like photography or 3D.
