Why? Half of the people calling for it missed the bottom and have vested interest in another crash. The other half are just as opportunistic and aim to profit off of it. They're all bad actors with no more insight than you or I. It's easy to say there will be a crash when the market is pumping like this but more often than not you'll lose money trying to time it. Covid was different because of how obvious it was that it would affect the market but this time there's no real catalyst that hasn't been hanging around for years.

Core position is SOXL but I swing trade shares and options in all the stuff in pic related when the opportunity presents itself. I'm a big fan of the leveraged ETFs since there's always some action to be had. Right now I have a big position in KOLD and LABU since they're on a nice dip. Bought some TLT calls yesterday which should turn around nicely in the next few days.
I have a futures account where I swing trade the e-mini S&P and treasuries. They inverse each other quite well so there's always some action.
I also hold a few dozen bitcoins waiting for the moon mission. Any day now..

Wall Street isn't a cohesive group, they're constantly trading against each other and if someone causes a dip, it usually gets bought up unless there's a fundamental reason why the market should go much lower and they all agree on it. A major drop needs a catalyst, like the second wave fear that quickly died out, without that we usually just see dips that get snapped up by everyone, including institutional investors. They've been caught with their pants down and were forced to buy during the run up, now they have as much to lose as anyone.

Most crashes ended up going back to ~80% of precrash value really fast before engaging a new leg. I argue that the brrr is pushing stocks higher than they should be, so that reaching a new ATH in these conditions is still "on-schedule" (maybe it's akin to reaching 70% of pre-crash value without brr). Additionally I want to further point out that if this is over, it's been the fastest crash in history by far, faster than almost all micro-crashes even.

Whats the argument for a second leg down?
All gouvernments print money and practically banned the line going down. There is massive damage to the economy, but as long as the dollar gets destroyed the market literally can not drop.
If necessary the fucking Fed will buy shares like the Japs did.

The economy itself is fucked right now though. Except for tech, pharma, etc.

QE isn't enough of a catalyst to cause a crash. The Fed gave three trillion dollars taken from tax payers and those who hold USD and gave it to people who own stocks and bonds. They haven't been taking assets off the books so the injection is here to stay. As long as the Fed is willing to subsidize the stock market, what reason do I have to sell? Weak dollar? Debt? The US has been in massive debt for a very long time, if the system ever goes belly up your worry won't be about stocks or money, it will be about not getting eaten by gangs of raiders.

There has to be a consensus on a reason that is good enough to justify mass withdrawal of money from the market. That obviously doesn't exist right now because it hasn't happened. There's no reason to stay out of the market and wait for event that may happen only after the market increased by a lot. I doubt we'll retest the March lows if it does crash again. A few months of this and we may not even retest the current price. Opportunity cost is a bitch.

The Total Market Capitalization of Public U.S. Companies was 35 trillion as of 6/30/2020. 3 trillion wouldn't be enough to move the market 40% even if injected at the bottom in March. It could make the difference between a 80% retracement and pushing all time highs but I don't agree that that's is a common thing that happens during a crash unless you're talking about small drops at the start of the crash, not six months after the fact. We've never seen a recovery like this, mostly because the covid fears were an overreaction so the market quickly shook it off and looked past it.

Most of the money that has flown back in is institutional and retail investors reacting to a number of things but it's not limited to QE. I would have bought the March bottom regardless of that and we would still be up quite a lot as Covid didn't justify a 40% drop and there's nothing that justifies another one, unless you want to question stocks as a whole and their value, that's a bubble that won't pop any time soon.

Depends how much of Chad's approval they receive while growing up. If Chad is constantly dicking them throughout high school and they've had over a certain threshold of penises in them before college then they most likely open up an onlyfans/insta/snap exclusively for getting more chad approval before college. Whether or not they go depends entirely on how readily they prepare for their future, how thirsty they are for prime college-age chad cock, and the level of "sex positive" indoctrination they've been fed up to that point.

So you could probably write it out as an exact formula but I can't be assed to do so right now. You don't have to even be attractive btw, all that matters is how inflated your ego is. Even hamplanets and complete uggos can ride the gravy train if they know how to pander to their niche. They're just less likely to enter the game because they don't have the confidence.

>They all want a man better than them, so many of them end up unhappy if they make too much money or are too smart.
What a sad existence.

... Are you really not cognizant of the fact that Covid was a convenient excuse for something that was going to happen anyway?

And you still haven't addressed the violence of the market. It's never, ever looked like this. It just swings harder and harder and eventually it will just keep going. You can SEE the momentum building.

Without Covid it would have quickly lost 40%? This goes in circles back to a catalyst that would cause people to withdraw that much money, there isn't one. There are a lot of reasons why you could consider stocks overvalued but no real reason why everyone else would. Money always flows back into stocks regardless of fundamentals because there's no other way to get a high return that is easily accessible, it's a self fulfilling proficiency.

As for the violence, volatility doesn't cocern me. It could crab for a decade after this, it could keeping going up, but it's unlikely to retest the March lows and any other possible drop isn't enough for me to withdraw my investments on the off chance something will happen. I'll buy every god damn dip and only sell if I feel that's what most people want to do, which is what I did in March. You're not unprotected in market, most times you can still sell before a major drop happens.
