Hey OP. I had the same thought a couple years back, but chose not to vocalize my opinion because that's probably a quick way of fucking everything up. Not that I really mind your thread. Things have been changing little by little and I know all things must pass. Eventually, I predict, this place will probably be forced to be moderated when the wrong person loses a lot of money. But so far it's been fucking awesome and I've learned a lot about a lot. I lost 90% of my portfolio gambling shitcoins, getting fucked by major market movements I knew nothing about, and basically being a dumbass. Then I bought LINK with my last $600 and rode it back up to being in profit. I went from a negative net worth to having a massively diversified portfolio among multiple asset classes. I'm making it, because when the bear market hit, I realized that this shit would probably make me rich if I stuck with it, and I kept seeing people complaining about (hypothetically or not) how getting rich didn't/wouldn't fix anything for them, so I started focusing on becoming the person I want to be whether I'm rich or not

Many of us here dream of getting rich enough from hodling, fantasizing about the day we walk out of our jobs. My net worth isn't really that great yet but I'm already on the verge of making it regardless. I might quit my job tomorrow. I did some math tonight and realized there isn't enough hours in the day to do the work that's expected of me. I've been there 7 years now, 5 years with my current boss, and for those 5 years I worked a minimum of 70 hours per week. Basically the owner wants an operation where he doesn't have to be there, but he never did anything to set up the operation to run without him, and he likes to pretend that's my fault. It's taken me some time to really grasp and understand just how full of shit he is. Well I could talk all night about it
