Now, many turbonormies or even autists are content in their job because to them, their job IS the authentic version of themselves, however, if you feel deep in your soul you are not meant to be a wagie then you will never be happy BEING a wagie. I managed to last 8 years and somehow got promoted multiple times, but every single day dragging myself to offices and meetings I knew this wasn't me, this wasn't what I was destined to do or be. When you reach the intersection of mid management and senior management you have a choice to make: You either swallow the bluepill and LARP as a turbonormie, or you quit and forge your own path. I chose the latter and the day I left in November 2019 it felt like I had literally been reborn aged 29.

Worked as a tech support for the majority of it servicing 80+ employees with my ex boss 75% of the time not being on site and me being the only person in the whole department you understand how stupid stressful it became. Seeing my boss make 120k a year comfortably by just pointing a finger pissed me off. So now I'm behind bills and I got an interview today for another job as a part time technician.

I am unsure if I should quit now however.
