I've never used places like Uniswap before, so I'm not sure how this works. Can anyone explain to a brainlet how to do so?

1. install metamask wallet on your phone
2. send eth to that wallet
3. open app.uniswap or whatever is the link using the metamask app browser
4. exchange eth for whatever you want

You can use other wallets too(I think coinbase wallet was there too), I just did it this way

So in this case, does ETH refer to Ethereum, or is it any coin? I'm a bit lost on that being new to this, sorry.

ETH is etherium yes, you can trade with other coins but just use ETH

Would paying the price for Ethereum and then trading it for PNK make it lose value though? I'm mostly curious because I'd assume the price of PNK will go up by November or so when it supposedly will become available on Coinbase.

What do you mean? You're going to have to pay a bit more than usual on fees probably if that's what you're talking about

>> No.21189636

>>21189503
you'll incur small fees for conversion depending on volume (it will tell you as you change) like forex etc..

just do >>21188974 and play about. all information will be available from the providers.

Say 1ETH=$400 once you transfer to buy Kleros you get $400 worth of PNK shares, totaling in the thousands

>> No.21189684

>>21189576
That's why I'd like to get in on it before it potentially boosts up when it comes to Coinbase/other places.

I'd really like to at least put in a small $100 or so, but I don't know if buying $100 of ETH would translate into the same amount when trading it over for PNK. Again, I'm still somewhat new to this, so I'm not entirely sure if trading would mean I keep the original $100 value or not.

>> No.21189738

>>21189684
Yes, it would probably be around $90 after fees though so buy like $110 ETH

>> No.21189748

>>21189645
Yes, but I don't want to put that much into it at the moment. I was wondering if it'd work to just drop a quick $100 on it for the moment to net me a good amount and then wait till coinbase later. And I mean that as in, can I buy only $100 worth of ETH, trade it, and still get roughly $100 worth of PNK? I understand you pay a fee, so maybe a bit more, but you get what I mean.

Ok, cool, so it is what I thought. I'll have to try out that Metamask Wallet process the FP mentioned.

Jesus this thread makes me want to sell PNK. I thought we were still underground, not a normie coin.

$100 worth of anything will fluctuate. $100 USD in PNK could be 1k or it could be 900, or it could be 10k coins.

Normally I fud for fun, anon. But I am being serious when I say I don’t think you should be making financial decisions on crypto if you don’t have a grasp on the concept of price fluctuation.

indeed. comfy.

people joke about judge judy but i think most people would go for that over what we have now. also think small claims court case you wouldn't bother with - push to dispute.

Is there a specific option I should be using to then swap over to Uniswap/wherever at this point? I'm using MetaMask as a browser app.

>> No.21190365

You completely misunderstood my whole point, anon. I literally just want to drop $100, specifically, on PNK and that's it. I've been watching it fluctuate between 8 cents and 11 cents the past few days.

I just wanted to confirm that whatever amount I put in, minus the transaction fee, will leave me with roughly $100 to put in on PNK. I don't have a lot to invest atm, so I'd like to keep it simple.

>> No.21191119

>>21190365
Yeah, unfortunately you will lose a little bit of value every time you make an exchange. There is no way to exchange dollars directly for PNK yet. However, the major cost is usually exchanging dollars for ETH. Transferring ETH to a private wallet and using uniswap is usually not very expensive.
That being said, if you're too concerned about losing $10 of $100, I'm not sure crypto is a good idea for you. PNK could quite possibly go down to $0.04 before going up to $0.20. In the long term I'm very confident in PNK; I bought 180,000 at $0.02 and I'm not considering selling any until we're at least a top 20 marketcap coin. But in the short term I'm indifferent to losing 50% of its value, because if you pick the right projects but panic sell you can still lose everything.
