the broader crypto market and the whole world is still sleeping on this absolute beast. Meanwhile I secured digital oil sheik status at the bottom.

I made it frens, I made it and I made it thanks to /biz/ who is always FIRST or atleast EARLY with all of the absolute GEMS.

first it was ETH. I wasn't here to buy yet.
then it was Chainlink. I didn't trust sergey and his 650million stack.
But now with RLC I completely get it and. I can't even. Bro's. ... Thanks bro's for whoever that was who got my attention on this asset. I think it was in 2018 when I started getting into RLC. Thanks frens.

Thanks.

No problem :)
I'll continually buy up to 10$. Fiat money is worthless, RLC will gain exponentially.

I like the concept of RLC, but how is it still so cheap right now?

The coin is not needed. You can pay Amazon with a visa card if you want computing power faster, more secure and more cheaply than RLC. Who wants part of their sensitive data decentralized on some teens cell phone?

Still relatively unknown by anyone outside of biz or "knowledgeable circles". Reddit still doesn't know. Twitter barely knows. It's a combination of the weird name and weird logo, which are advantages because it actually sticks out the more you inject yourself with iExec knowledge.

Take it as a gift. You can buy more.

can anyone spoonfeed an absolute noob here? I choked on buying link back when it was $1.70, now I think I'm too late. where do I even start? what is RLC? I've invested exactly nothing in crypto

Not on Coinbase. Normie money is coinbase. BSV and BCH wouldn't even be relevant if it wasnt for coinbase. If RLC gets coinbase listing, expect a moonshot.

Amazon, IBM, and Nvidia are all using iexec for Confidential Computing. Aka the ability to use TEEs and encrypt in use data in real time while running VMs. This is big brain shit that has a niche market with DEEP pockets. If ya know, ya know.

Its not on Coinbase? Thats weird Im using a very local exchange and its relatively unknown compared to Coinbase, yet it has RLC on it, so I thought fuck it and bought a few.

well if you aren't a IT person the general concept of what problems it solves will be almost impossible to grasp. however the tokeneconomics the team worked out should convince anyone even if you aren't very tech experienced to why this will absolutely moon into oblivion.

here you go bud https://medium.com/iex-ec/rlc-token-economics-iexec-34757f4885c2

coinbase gets all coins relatively late. if its on coinbase you aren't early at all.

Its an erc-20 so it works with just about any wallet. Just use Changelly or uniswap to swap for it.

Imagine thinking AWS will be cheaper than decentralized cloud computing. Do you realize how much they're investing in overhead, land, energy to run their servers? DYR

only people who don't know anything about IT say things like this. You know DropBox right? well basically DropBox started on Amazon. They moved away and build their own complete datacenter because it would be cheaper and paid back in ~2 years by just not having to pay amazon.

Imagine that. and theres a ton more popular tech companies that have started on amazon and moved away, cause its expensive as fuck, like seriously. I can't remember how much the dropbox datacenter costed to build, but it was like 2 billion, they saved 2 billion or more in dollars in 2 years just moving away from amazin. Don't know the exact amounts but they were huge, you can research this if you want. google is your friend.

I was meaning yes you are right and Iexec will blow any centralized aws tier service out of the water. Like, Amazon is easy to use, you don't even have to know much about IT to set up systems, but you pay, you pay for everything. its very very expensive. A company I used to work for moved to amazon without proper research because they wanted to save on costs, they came from an already expensive provider called rackspace, AWS was even more expensive in the end. absolutely fucktarded expensive.

In addition, to what you said, look at the proposal of Google's new database centers. All require a minimum of a billion gallons of water per year. Shit is unsustainable as the demand for cloud services increase.

https://time.com/5814276/google-data-centers-water/

Just another reason why decentralized cloud computing is needed. Remove monopolies, increase sustainability, less environmental impact and most importantly, giving businesses and individuals options at an affordable price.
