Does anyone else love posts like this? This is the only reason I come on /biz/, to search for people who have just lost it all and are on the brink.
Here's one I saved a while back. Every time I go back and read it, it makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

Does anyone remember Bitmex Degenerate?
A dude came here being down to like $15k from his $40k initial and YOLOd into a high leverage margin trade to "make it back or lose it all".
He actually made it back to $40k and we all cheered him

Then like 2 days later he came back like "Margin trading is easy, what can you do with $40k? I'm gonna make a million" and set up the twitter account above. Everyone was calling him a fucking retard and not to throw it all away. He got liq'd instantly, never to be seen again.
Funny as fuck, you can't help some people.

I have a meltdown in progress right now and could use some help. I used uniswap for the first time to purchase ocean and had to sign up for a metamask wallet. I copied my metamask wallet to clipboard and pasted that into uniswap and never received my coins. WTF happened??

>> No.21130101

>>21130031
You have to type it manually, this is explained in the metamask faq. It's a security feature and the transaction gets rejected. Usually it just refunds the eth like when you send a 0eth TX to the same addy you made an undergassed transaction in. Uniswap is a little weird though with how it handles smart contracts. All hope is not lost. Check to see if the eth you spent was sent back to your wallet.

This is why I don't long or short or margin or options or anything. If I'm feeling ballsy I'll take a loan on aave and shortsell or long that way, but fuck bitmex and binance shit. I don't know what half these words mean, but at least with my method I know all I can lose is my collateral should worse come to worst. Currently up almost 30k from my most recent position. Small balls though because loan utilization is under 30%. Then again this is crypto were talking about. It's nothing to see a 25% move in the 6 hours you're sleeping. Have to give yourself some breathing room so you aren't babysitting candlesticks 24/7 until you close. Crypto being 24/7 is a double edged sword. At least wall street guys can get some time away from a screen. The crypto trader is an entirely different breed because of this. Only an autistic neet can seriously keep up with this shit.
