why? if i take out a fixed rate loan now, with the economy rapidly inflating my repayments will end up being lower and lower over time, plus i can afford it i just need the money for a node NOW instead of over the next couple months

Block rewards alone will be 3-4x more than your interest payment, assuming price doesn't go up.
If price tanks, you can probably lose 50% on XSN value and break even in terms of monthly payments.
