Ah look our resident troll the ASS is here to trick people into losing money. When you see the ASS (Anti SLV Shill) always do the opposite of what he says and report him to the SEC for section 9 BANE act violations

I’m a smooth brain, but the smartest most based client I have, who is way more successful than me and has never given me advice on anything before (even though it would have been welcomed) told me earlier this week, “you should sell all your stocks and get into metals.” Kind of out of no where and he was very serious. I followed his advice and am up $7,000 as of today. As a smooth brain who is less successful than his clients this is a lot of money to me. Prepare for more smooth brains like me here soon, but also prepare for a smooth brain moon pump soon as well.

I agree silver will increase long term versus the dollar but that will take dumping the dollar as reserve currency or war or some other event to precipitate a true mooninf. What's happening now is too quickly , people fomoing they aren't prepared for that event which might come in a few months or a few decades. Driving price up too fast in the short term will end in the price falling just as fast as people panic sell once their paradigm shifts

I have renter's insurance, but it doesn't cover everything I own. The valuable are all in my gun "safe" (legally it's a safe, realistically it's a metal box). I should hide most of it somewhere else, so would be robbers take the small obvious stack and leave the rest. But I'm locked in my apartment all day, now working from home, with a ton of security cameras and a few guns.

my stack is by no means large compared to many of the posters here. ~100/1.5 oz

The fact that people treat anime waifus as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Plastic was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on 1 and 2D girls and elvkins, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to chattel slavery.

Already, by far the largest amount of money exists and is transacted in plastic form — as Fiji water containers and dragon dildoes. But even a little plastic can cause a lot of damage to the envirotards psyche.

The existence of 3D sows — a bearer instrument with a negative interest rate — limits central banks’ ability to stimulate a depressed economy. The worry is that people will exchange their deposits for dildoes if a central bank moves rates into negative territory as The Swiss, Danish and Swedish central banks have done.

I sold all my mining stocks today after seeing this development (today especially). I did so after seeing comments on zerohedge saying that the miner sell-off was the smart money taking profits right before a planned hammering of the spot silver price (and a subsequent drop in the mining share prices). My plan is to buy back into miners once this passes, if it does come to pass. If it doesn't, then fuck me I guess. I just don't see any other reasonable explanation for miners all taking a simultaneous shit today. Someone knows something we don't.

You just threw away your miners right before they soar to unprecedented heights. I suggest you buy them back as quickly as you can, because your conduct is insane. Silver miners are trading for only 6x FCF based on the current silver price; the average has been 10x even since 2012, which is a date which marks the start of a bear market for the miners. People have been shouting about this "last big pullback" ever since March, and missed 1000% gains in the juniors. People should be selling silver to buy miners right now, not getting out of miners.

Guys, we're all long as fucking shit in this rock. With the current run we've had we should start buy SLV puts. Let's be real, none of us have any invest-able cash left if there's a dip. We all know the long term potential, but pullbacks could happen easily. Just buy some long vega positions with as little premium as possible. If it drops 5% in a day (which wouldn't even register on the monthly chart) people are gonna get scared its a repeat of 2011. It won't cost jack shit to get some October or November puts. With these positions, they don't actually have to get that close to the money to 10-20x in value, they'll rise on fear.

I mentioned three junior silver stocks here >>21079091 which are still stagnant even though silver has doubled, the same way that Bear Creek Mining was doing nothing until a day or two ago. Hardly anybody even knows about silver stocks yet. Look at Tinka Resources. 60 million ounces of silver in the ground, potential for an open-pit mine, some of the best zinc deposits in the world, great exploration potential, no debt, 20 million in cash, good management team, located in a safe mining district (Central Peru), and yet the stock is still exactly what it was in February. It's free money, just lying there to take. I put 10% of my net-worth into it yesterday, because you would be insane not to pick up free money when you see it lying there on the ground.

Have a fuckton of money since gold crossed its last ATH earlier this week.

Also, bigger sized pieces have smaller premiums over spot. 1/4 or 1/2 ounce is the sweet spot for gold bought from dealers you want the option to actually use your gold in bartering if things really get pear-shaped.

The reason why silver is exploding is mathematical. COMEX can't deliver, the paper silver market is about to implode.
Silver is going to $50 at first but then will go to $100, the base scrapping price. It won't go up further than that until the dollar is finally dead next year.

Obviously, but if you're a refiner/major dealer you can arb the price right now. Look at what dealers are charging for 1000 oz comex bars. There's no point in any of them holding inventory if they can make $2500 for shipping a bar. JPM doesn't have to be unable to deliver, they just need to be forced to stop shorting. If there wasn't any fear about comex, the comex price would just be 0.007% (1 month risk free rate) less than the immediate bar (less shipping). 1000 oz bars are in short supply and going for 10% over the comex price

What I meant to say is that they could open Shafter back up with these current prices. There is no info on their website on if that mine will restart yet. They are focused on their Colorado property at the moment.

Ya, the mines weren’t closed back then and they are now. Guess what happens when the mines and refineries open back up for business???

Don't hold SLV for long. Use it only to play with call options. JP Morgan's shenanigans will be exposed sooner or later

Physical, Sprott trusts, and miners. I picked SGDJ instead of GDXJ because sprott seems to allocate more to juniors & minors instead of keeping a portion in majors

Okay, with their current status, is there justification to think the price will be over 10 dollars when the boom in silver starts?

>$5 shipping
>no credit card fee
>roughly $1/oz over spot for ATBs
Picked up 2 from the tip last thread, thanks again fella.

2011 was a short squeeze. If you value it as a money and assume nothing else other than comparing changes in m2 and silver production since 1970, the price of silver is correct at $30ish

it all depends on if they can get their butts in gear and get their properties producing again. If they have an operating silver mine in the next 2-3 months than I could see them going high. Remember though I am not a stocks guy, I am only looking at the project from a operations standpoint. There could be something else that is stopping them that I dont know about.

Can someone explain why the mods on /pol/ are deleting pm threads?

okay, but what if they just keep their current mine?
The stock SHOULD go up a decent amount right?

I mean, they have a silver mine and silver is rapidly increasing in value.

There's one more bit I like about these. Even if we see a pullback again, the price they're selling these commemorative coins is the same, so as a collectible you still get that much (or close) back if silver goes down, to a reasonable extent of course. On the other hand, if it keeps going up, then silver price per ounce rules.

What a bunch of cunts. Who're you with? Compared to flat exchange rate, which you never get anyway, only $30 of the $1000 total transaction was fees, and that's in kiwi dollars. Reasonable enough. ANZ Visa here.

yep I dont see why it wouldnt go up baring something stupid like the company messing up permits or something. They have mines, there just not producing anything right now.

If you guys think this doesn't go to $100 you're not thinking.

All you need to do is look at all the hundreds of thousands of r/wsb "autists" shouting "Money printer go brrrrrr" for three months straight to know that PM's are going to absolutely moon.

Ya I was thinking the same thing also, the price floor the mint sets makes it a much easier pill to swallow paying at these prices.

>They have mines, there just not producing anything right now.
Damn, I wish I wasn't retarded and actually researched what I invest in instead of getting roped into /pmg/ memes.
I didn't even know they didn't produce ANY silver.
I'm going to hold the shit out of it because of the potential upside.
