Coinbase wallet takes forever to show a new token. Look up your address on etherscan. They should be there.

When you trade a token new to your wallet, uniswap approves it first then you trade. But those little green checks mean everything's good.
It's the little triangles you gotta watch out for

There's different ways to transfer ERC-20 tokens. One way is to use send, and another is to use the approve+withdraw method. Basically you approve another smart contract to withdraw a certain amount of your ERC-20 token, so then it can call it only when it needs it (so you don't send it to a dead address/contract). In this case, you're approving uniswap to withdraw/spend, so once it finds a match it withdraws your tokens and does the swap.
