Holy fuck!!
You may have seen me posting in the PMG threads, me asking whether I should sell my Call options in August

I was recommended by multiple people to extend them out until January, as it would be too hard to predict the $25.00 move

I went ALL-IN on these silver calls, and I am now up 80% in 4 days!!

Holy fuck!! I sold

Now everything in me is telling me to buy Puts, as it will 100% consolidate tomorrow..

However, I don't want to make the mistake of every options trader, get up HUGE and then lose it all in the very next trade..

I do think though that buying some short-term Puts is going to do VERY well tomorrow

This is not the same world as 2008. 2008 didn't have inverted yield curves where real yield was negative, a fed printing trillions in a month just to keep the economy afloat, and a loackdown that sank small businesses while putting tens of millions out of work.

You need to discard your normalcy bias, the life support system keeping the USD hanging on is the disease, and won't be lasting much longer. Only two ways to push off the collapse:

1) Full rework of the USD tying it to PM, crypto, or a combo of both
2) Hot war with China

Most silver juniors are explorers. Basically they're companies that make no money and only try to find deposits and sometimes try to develop silver deposits into mines.
They have to raise cash and /or get into debts.
These companies usually are the cheapest and can go up 20x to 100x during silver bull markets.

>> No.20998012

>>20997962
The fact that people treat silver as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Silver money was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on silver coins and medallions, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to chattel slavery.

Already, by far the largest amount of money exists and is transacted in paper form — as bank deposits and central bank reserves. But even a little physical silver can cause a lot of damage to the economic system.

The existence of rounds — a bearer instrument with a zero interest rate — limits central banks’ ability to stimulate a depressed economy. The worry is that people will change their deposits for rounds if a central bank moves rates into negative territory. The Swiss, Danish and Swedish central banks, in a demographic culture of collapse, have pushed rates lower than many thought possible; but most policymakers still believe in an “effective” lower band not far below zero.

My point is this
You have 10,000 ounces of silver. It is revealed that its a shell game. There is no metal. What is your first reaction? You sell. Silver crashes hard. Silver could trade down to 0.01. Same goes for the Gold. You find out there is no metal. You have 1000 ounces. First reaction? Sell. Sell it all. This applies to every product. You could have misleading price action where gold or silver or even artisanal lavender beeswax trades down to $1 for the simple fact that its worthless. A print that low doesnt mean silver is only worth $1. A print that low means your paper silver in your hand is worth 3 figures

civilizations are cyclical and within them are many smaller cycles within cycles.
Once you are aware of how things actually are and dispense of the idea of infinite growth/progress everything will make a great deal more sense.
Now this does not mean you can make super accurate predictions rather things tend to lets say rhyme and you can get the general feel of the upward and downward movements.

SLV is subsidized, the gov. (ie. tax payers) are paying the $3 difference on behalf of the producer, the miner still gets shafted regardless

the difference between spot and SLV is that the actual bullion market deals exclusively in LGD bars that are 400ozt for gold and 1000ozt for silver, you cannot sell or buy anything else in the bullion market, coins and small bars start off as LGD bars from the market that get broken down into smaller quantities hence the added cost, add to this a halt on production and refining thanks to coof19 and you have high premiums on SLV on top of already high premiums on junk metal just from dealing in small quantities that dont trade in the real bullion market (SLV and GLD)

USD

I can’t see anyone having faith in physical silver or any other PM when it becomes a fact that it’s not backed by SLV and the real amount of SLV is way less then what’s been trading on apmex and thus suppressing the real value of SLV per share.

Polish tradition: painting of a jewish man counting coins. It will bring you wealth if you get is as a gift(can't buy it yourself), put a penny inside the frame and hang it upsidedown on a wall. This way he will loose gold coins. According to english wikipedia it is very antysemitic but not in Poland, where you can buy those everywhere. New pmg theme?

So tell me /pmg/ what is your next bottom for the second leg down? Will Silver make it bellow 10$ this time? Or do you think this is all over, because the dollar is obviously getting into trouble.

I have a little exposure already in all kind of fiat hedges, but I will certainly not FOMO all in now. This fucking thing has to come down again and the margin calls will certainly impact metals hard again. This time it's probably falling less than the index funds I suppose. I have a buy order for silver at 12.05$ and Gold at 1612$.

My point is this
You have 10,000 ounces of physical silver. A print that low doesnt mean paper silver is only worth $1. A print that low means your paper silver in your hand is worth 3 figures

The people back in 2012 who bought PM's at the high and were left holding the bag when prices crashed are making mad money right now as long as they held those bags long enough. Remember that, never sell your precious metals if the price crashes, it WILL go back up eventually. Even to the point where you can make a profit.

Never panic always hold.

Fiats have failed, but they have always recovered by resetting themselves relative to other stable currencies.

If the USD goes as the world reserve now, it will be an event that has no historical comparison. The level of global financial and economic interdependence founded upon the USD as a world reserve currency is massive. Add to this the fact that many major industrialized countries are currently following the US's footsteps in terms of unsustainable debt and significant money printing. It's entirely possible we could see the world reserve collapse, PLUS multiple other currencies collapse at the same time.

We're potentialy in a situation that is really on another level to previous fiat collapses. It's possible that when the USD actually collapses there will not be ANY "stable currencies" in the world for a time. Again, this doesn't necessarily equal Fallout, but it would mean that every country doing a fiat reset will have to do it relative to something physical (like gold) instead of relative to some other fiat (like the USD, as has often been done).

A reset to physical means the potential for a MASSIVE upset in world economic power, especially for countries like Canada that have ZERO fucking gold reserves which would make Canada literally unable to buy anything on the international market until it sells off commodities/assets to acquire some gold, which you can guarantee would be done at prices that would impoverish the country to levels far below where it is now.

yeah I also don't see PMs to totally eat shit any time soon. But stonks really should pull back harder than the last time. 25% PM pullback would be about what I am looking for. Stonks maybe 50%.

Trudeau only needs three cities to win an election, so it really doesnt matter either way. What concerns me is that the country is so divided against rural urban now that nationalization of heavy industry work such as mining would cause massive revolts across the country. If the government went and called dibs on the mines, they would than have to also get the suppliers and support infrastructure industries as well. Its so hard to even describe how many different jobs are tied to mining that this concept would effect.

Jews spike silver price RIGHT BEFORE Lebanon is nuked.

I’m sure this is a coincidence.
