Red-pill me here. It doesn't make sense that some literal nobody NEETs have 1-2 million dollars now. If that is true, this means that 1-2 millions are worth nothing, that secretly a lot more people than we know have them. Right? It's impossible that people with degrees are more stupid than you.

Having a degree doesn't mean you are clever. It just means you were willing to put up with Jewish indoctrination for 4 years of your life.

That being said, stinkies had 500 dollar stacks 2 years ago. At most they have 10k now if they didn't panic sell several times (many did). Or cash some out for their various needs.

The one commonality between biz posters is extreme exaggeration of both portfolio size and gains. The stink cult is no different. However one day they will get destroyed when the rug pull happens on their manipulated asset.

according to MJ DeMarco around 5M is the amount of wealth we have in mind when we think of 1M (due to inflation, ofc), still, most people will never own 100K in liquid assets, nevermind 1M, so relatively its still a huge amount

If you're worried about inflation, just remember, there are a fuckload of poor working class people for whom $1000 or even $500 is a fuckton of money, and as long as we keep them around and somewhat sedated with (((media))) and other shenanigans, the cash will still hold its value.
I'm all for creating a libertarian cowboy-world, but I do appreciate a moderate left-wing for this reason, they tend to sweep the big problems under the rug long enough for me to get my shit together and my ducks all in a row

it's not a question of intelligence in the academic sense, that's one of the main contemporary fallacies. that being said having the foresight to see link early is only half of it. it's as much about being able to manage wealth successfully once you've found it, as it is finding it in the first place. I fear many anons here will mess it up somehow. I'm looking forward to the threads in this place gradually shifting from "am I going to make it", to "how to manage life now that I've made it" etc.

What’s to difficult about it? I’m very frugal, and a house will most likely be my biggest expense in life. I can’t see my self driving a car that cost more than 100k. I just want to build generational wealth and live a free life with family and children.

something like 12% of the US are net millionaires.

closer to 1/4 of the US hold more than a million dollars in assets that are offset by debt.

so something like 1 in 4 americans have more than a million dollars depending how you calculate it. If this thread were a random sample of US citizens you'd have 3 millionaires posting by now.

the simple fact is 4chan is young, you are young, and millionaires aren't usually young. So you don't associate with a lot of millionaires. I'm pushing 50 and almost all of my friends are millionaires, as am I. It's not a lot of money, it's not even enough to retire on at 67.

you have what's called a "success barrier" - reality doesn't mould itself around who is and who isn't a million. I've seen that sentiment posted here so many times, that such and such can't reach a certain value because then that would make a bunch of NEETs millionares etc. That's how strong this success barrier is to you, that you're actually thinking along the lines of reality bending the knee to your internal hierarchy. Decent ETFs. Take out 4% a year, 40k a year (less post-tax, but since it's cap gains you don't have to pay FICA) for doing absolutely nothing. A certain percentage should go in gold and Bitcoin to preserve your wealth during downturns or collapses.

Also, you'll want to create a dynasty trust for yourself at some point to preserve your wealth over the generations and boost your offspring into a higher social strata. It will also protect the bulk of your money in case you or your family get hit with huge unexpected bills from medical or legal vultures.

There's a whole library of literature about wealth preservation. Mo money mo problems, but they're the nice kind of problems.

Luck is not something which happens randomly.
You make it happen by taking a lot of risks in areas where there is a huge winning potential.

If you never expose yourself to risk with a potential upside you will always remain where you are.
You don't know how it felt to keep all your money in a coin which nobody knew for years and changed its price from $1 to $0.2 in half a year, and then periodically moved between 40-60 cents.

I was here through it all and well before link too. Congrats on buying the only coin that did well since 2018. I really mean that but the all time gains of link are so paltry compared to many coins that it's not believable how many people claim they made it from link. Like let's be real most link holders haven't even done a 10x. That's shit but at the same time the market cap is so high, it's hard for it to even do another 10x. Now considering it's pure speculation on a literal scam you cant justify putting more than a few percent of your net worth in it. Something to note about this advice is that all of this is the baseline of what you want to do with your money assuming you want to sit on your ass and never do anything ever again. One of the key redpills you should keep in mind is that once you've hit the "made it" point in life there is absolutely nothing stopping you from making more money, but the difference now is that you have the luxury of choosing how to do so.

You want to keep trading shitcoins? Keep going.
You want to be a landlord? More power to you.
You want to keep waging? You're insane but you do you.

Making it does not necessarily have to be the end-all for you. It just can be if you want it to.
