Is it too late to buy Ethereum?

>> No.20910320

it depends of how much can you invest. if you have 50k-100k+ to invest it isn't too late. if you are a poorfag with 10k or less to invest you won't make it

It isn't too late until it's $10k. Even then it's not late so long as you're willing to wait for ~6 years

True. We'll also see some of the defi coins which missed the first bubble where LEND went up 60x reappear as the surprise moons alongside Eth.

I reckon bzx probably has that mantle, so even if it's bleeding in Vits now, don't forget to load up on some for an almost guaranteed 10x once the platform relaunches.

Lol. Even if ETH goes 2k this run, even 1k per ETH, you can start any business you want basically. Internet marketing, Copywriting, logo design, lawn mowing, power washing, and move out of your parents house and make the easiest 6 to 10k a month. Then you can move out of moms house and live a very nice life

just keep buying little bits at a time anon. A lot of us do not have 10-20K to just throw around at a moments notice. All we can do is accumulate what we can and prosper what we get. Its still an amazing deal

Yes. Eventually this incarnation of the USD (the 4th of is corp?) will be worth nothing and .0000001 eth will be worth trillions. How many continentals for an eth?

Stakingrewards.com has some projections n shit on various coins. Not sure on eth.

Here's a thought for you:
People are willing to pay ~$1 for a medium difficulty tx right now, about $0.30 for a transfer. I bet they'll be willing to pay about ~3x that all things being equal, but whatever. Let's take $1
At the current gas prices, this is around 0.0025 of ETH. Now, we know for a *fact* that scalability solutions will dramatically reduce the cost of ETH per each transactions, especially with L2 solutions AND sharding. Money skelly talks about 1000x increase in transaction efficiency just from sharding alone. Let's call him out on his BS and say that this will go 100x at most with both solutions, so at the current traffic and needs, people would be paying approximately 0.000025 ETH for those transactions we were talking about
Then let's think about the fact that $ is going down really, really hard right now in terms of purchasing power. $1 worth right now is a lot more than $1 worth 1-2 years from now. With what is going on, people easily argue that this will reduce purchasing power of dollar by several times, but let's be nice again and say $1 now will be $1.30 2 years from now. Now, let's put it all together
Now: $1 for 0.0025 ETH to perform your basic transactions.
Then: $1.30 for 0.000025 ETH to perform your basic transactions, assuming the demand stays the same.
This puts ETH at $52,000. This is not including increased demand, additional supply staked in DeFi, additional supply staked in ETH 2.0 and assuming low bounds of scalability increase. This puts ETH market cap at $7.8 trillion assuming 150 mil supply by then (again, we're being nice because it will be much less actually). According to the CIA, the total amount of "money" end of 2017 (before BRRRR shenanigans) was $80 trillion if you include "broad money." Let's be nice again and consider it stayed at that amount and will stay there for the next couple of years. Considering ETH is shaping up to be the backbone of the world's economy, is sucking in a mere ~15% of money so crazy?

I'm going to FOMO if you keep going. Just stop.

>> No.20912114

>>20912044
DCA in, anon. At the very least, this is something cool to be a part of. You'll never be able to time the market, and I guarantee you there will be dips because of hype cycles. This is 100% a fomo-hype pump right now, but nobody knows the future and can tell you when it will stop and retrace -- and it will. Could be now, could be at $420, could be at $520, and could be much more. This is still a decentralized asset (unlike fucking stocks of which 90% is held by a literal 0.0001%), so hype has an insane effect. ETH is not immune to swings
DCAing in will very likely be a much better decision than FOMOing, almost always.
