Move every bit of it between LINK and XRP at least temporarily while this pump is going on. Once you're satisfied, move the XRP profit money to DAI (I'm assuming you're using coinbase) while everything dumps. Then get back into LINK. DAI is designed to maintain a dollar price, and you won't get bent over in fees swapping to USD

That is fair enough. Link and Ethereum and bitcoin are doing good things right now. This is probably just the start of their pumps. They will be worth buying into eventually, but if you want a easier (but less reliable/more volatile) road there then invest in whatever other altcoins other biztards recommend.

don't fall for all the chainlink hype. When the next bull run actually happens, most of the wealth will accrue to bitcoin, like it has in all the past bull runs.

As for "is this the right buying method", yes, Coinbase is a good exchange. You should consider setting up a wallet on your computer to store the coins though. the whole point of cryptocurrency is that you don't need to trust a company to hold your funds
