They can't do 1559 until after proof of stake because miners will fight it. Basically every idea that eth comes up with is a giant fuck you to miners. Can't wait for the eth civil war, don't be surprised if proof of stake is highly contentious with a legacy pow hard fork lasting a long time, especially if the spastic eth devs inevitable fuck it up somehow
1559 won't happen until after pos makes miners irrelevant, and pos is still at least 2 years from full deployment with tons of drama and uncertainty along the way

meh...it's been on the roadmap for years. Everyone knows Ethereum is switching to PoS, the miners that don't like it are retarded and should have known. If there is a fork so what...no one actually building and planning for the future would stick around. I run multiple crypto companies and we are all planning for PoS from a software side. Anyway...there are better things to mine with GPUs like FileCoin and other GPU heavy productions. Fuck the Asic Miners....lulz
