20867614 No.20867614 [Reply] [Original]

I want to move out of my parents' home but I have $110,000 in student debt and only $7,500 in my bank account. Never held a job in my life.

How did you fuck up this hard? How old are you? What did you study? Did you finish your degree? Do you still want to pursue that field as a career?

>> No.20867909

>How did you fuck up this hard?
Being pressured to get my family out of the dirt. I come from a long line of depressed sad sacks and thought going to uni as a first-gen would fix the cycle.
>How old are you?
I am 22, but I look 17. I get carded even for buying video games.
>What did you study?
Started on accounting, but I failed Calculus II because I'm a retard. Parents saw this and kept pushing me to continue, so against their better judgment I took on...English.
>Did you finish your degree?
Not really. I mean, I don't even have my diploma yet because we haven't ordered it. And because of Covid, so many classes were changed and I got out of writing so many essays, that it barely even felt like I earned my education.
>Do you still want to pursue that field as a career?
I don't want a career. I want to travel the US and do a bunch of odd jobs, never settle down. I have stayed in my home state all my life and have no fond memories of this town anymore.

I need them to be forgiven. I keep seeing on Plebbit that there are ways to get all that debt sucked away if you claim mental illness and do all this weird stuff, but at this point I'm desperate. Not once during University did I ever feel like I was getting my money's worth. I only stuck through it because my parents kept telling me I'd basically be nothing if I dropped out. This is mostly because my father quit after one semester, my brother quit community college after one semester, so when I stayed for a full year they all got convinced that I was some Golden Boy.
>>20868089

I do intend to pay off my loan if the forgiveness meme doesn't work out. It's not like it's a detriment to my mental health. I don't spend money frivolously, but it sucks having nothing to show for the loan I took out.

Well, they weren't always like that! There was a string of about eight years when my parents were literal millionaires. It's just now that their old methods are proving inconsequential, because their company is tanking. They scream at my brother for taking out a car loan that is predatory, but don't even consider the possibility that a six figure private loan for me might be the same. And yeah, I didn't either, because I was young and retarded and more focused on my stupid whore ex than my future.

If you are smart but just can't into academic hoop jumping, with your debt load your best play may just be to get into a trade, build up your own bizness and accumulate savings off the grid. Get paid by clients in cash and sack it away in crypto where the fed jews can't collect their usurious debt.
You are young enough that you still have more than ample time and opportunity to build a useful skill set and sell your labor until you can build up a base of real capital.
Remember, the secret to making money is to be useful to people with money. It's honestly that simple.

Besides buying supplies which are essential for survival, invest your money in gold, silver, gold miners, and silver miners (GDXJ and SILJ).

Have been begging people to do this since May. Read this thread to understand why. Anybody who listened is already up 200% on their investment.

We are about to have a currency crisis; the fact is inescapable. Your money will go a long way when the dollar is wiped out and goes to zero. Conversely, hyperinflation may take care of your debt problem. There is reason to be optimistic if you take steps to prepare for yourself for the imminent collapse.

Forgot to add: you can perfect the above plan by finding a good debt-free woman (inb4 a thousand demoralization shills saying there are no good white women), putting babies in her and keeping your house in her name.
