Pull your socks up and walk into an investment bank and ask the secretary for a job as a VP, and remember to let her know you can work weekends and can borrow a car if necessary.

might help if young people stopped majoring in queer feminist theory, twitch streaming for hours hoping to reach 10 viewers, and sending the little money they have to bernie.

Have you ever looking into things like the average number of wage/years for the cost of a median house, or the relative cost of education, or job availability and access to opportunities between generations? Ever done a deep dive on that sort of thing?

>Asking individuals to make personal life decisions in consideration of multigenerational economic contingencies

That's the government's job. Can't fault your grandparents for maximizing their own opportunities. Are you really going to hate them for maintaining and seeking a total net worth over their lives of maybe some few hundred thousand dollars? THAT'S who's to blame for our being shafted by this system? PLEASE. Obvious social propaganda from the zog wealthy class, as usual. Divide and conquer

I don't see a problem with this chart
Wealth takes time to be built ...
Maybe if they compared Boomer average wealth at the age millennials currently are then that'd be more interesting

>> No.20845118

generational wealth actually has more to do with the policies that were in place during the previous generation.

this is why the baby boomers have a lot of wealth, they grew into a system that was still capitalist.

millennials grew into a system that was far more socialist.

the 1-2 generations after millennials are going to be poor as fuck.

>> No.20845275

The problem with using "capitalist" and "socialist" as blanket words for "things I like" and "things I don't like" is that you don't make any fucking sense.

>> No.20845309

they're not blanket words. the boomers, who were starting their careers in the 60's and 70's, were in a society that was becoming more socialist (stuff like LBJ's War on Poverty), but was still firmly rooted in early century capitalism, and government burden was still relatively low. u.s. society is now highly socialist, all you have to do is look at the federal budget, and look at where most of the money goes...it's transfer payments for benefits, i.e. socialism.

Pensions own like $12 trillion in assets. Lots of Boomers still have them. Millennials is where they really stopped being offered at all. Older guys at work get a pension, I can't.

>> No.20846293

Ironically, the main entitlements you show growing are literally Boomer UBI and Boomer universal healthcare. Lol, they literally voted health care and UBI for themselves, cut taxes to pay for us, and handed us the bill.
