I'm looking at this bullish market and see so much opportunity in the crab stages of coins

And I'm looking at Binance API's and it's pretty straight forward to work with...... I know elite traders use all kinds of various AI's and ML systems...... Has everyone really just wrote it off as "too good for us"?

Now currently my focus isn't on an all powerful self sufficient bot, but one that can be set manually to bullish/crabbing coins for a few hours, as identified by the Investor.
Retarded pipe dream or ahead of the curve for a non-elite?

shameless self bump because I'm honestly baffled that there's not even rare autistic threads about it....

Also, I can't wait to use my RLC to access the best AI and ML training models at the lowest prices powered by the global supercomputer.....

Any average person will soon be able to train AI and ML systems to top 1% efficiency and accuracy..... Utterly game changing for society in general not even just this market....

Professional quant trader here (I work at a systematic futures prop trading firm).

If you want to compete with the big boiz (i.e. trading in large size) you'll find it very hard to make good money as a solo trader with retail-level market access. Trading in small size however, you might find that you can achieve reasonable Sharpes as you can just scratch the surface of the order book and you wont need particularly high accuracy to get positive returns.

Of course, all of this assumes that you are a reasonably intelligent person and not just an unemployed brainlet who has lots of time on their hands.

Definitely agree, the market for scam bots is much bigger and easier to get into.... still though I figured I'd hear rare discussions from autists every once in a while.

do you know of two sigma? or purchasing order flow? the big boys still have their advantages but they tend to play ML against eachother (similar to repo trading with banks)

spam all you want if you're going drop any kind of info related, I'm very interested in this project just to test and build my own skills further...

Blockchain and Crypto API skills are only going to keep increasing in demand.... Blockchain specialists already don't make less $250,000/yr and that's actually the low end of the pay scale

I can do this already with AWS or Azure, all without exposing myself to either market risk (from holding RLC) or massively fluctuating computing prices (from buying RLC as and when I need it)

iExec is confidential so you can monetize your data. Right now AWS can see ALL data going through it, and therefore makes the data near worthless to the original company
iExec will also be cheaper and more powerful, as it's literally the entire planet as a supercomputer grid

You had 19 years dude [pic related]

I'm definitely not the smartest guy or the best programmer.

But I can program, and I have a masters degree in AI. I spend a large part of 2017 trying to built bots to trade crypto.

It is much harder than you think. Trust me I have back tested a ton of different algorithms on various types of historical data. From price data across exchanges, to tracking large numbers of wallets, to tracking social media posts.

And even if you do get an algorithm to work. Typically they will only work for a small period of time. Something like covid happens, or (something much less significant) and it fucks up all the previous patterns and starts a new one.

You are better off just investing in a couple of projects that you truly belief in.

I do think now is a good time to start investing though.

That's my exact, as I've observed everything yo said.
I want my bot to be deployed very briefly, a few hours picked by the User, and just have it do 1000s of tiny swing trades per hour (as fast as the API allows really)

The smaller/faster your trades are the more accurate your predictions need to be, otherwise you will get eaten up by fees. It's like poker, eventually the house still wins.

>>20801332
I am not familiar, but if it is being sold it is most likely a scam. No one is going to risk spending thousands of hours to create a working bot just to sell it for peanuts.

>> No.20801555

>>20800677
You can try. You have the advantage of low volume = high liquidity, but the pleb volume trading fees should be enough to counterbalance that and jew you.
I know people who have made money with trading bots, but the reason nobody discusses their strategies in concrete terms is that the more people use them, the worse they perform. The large-volume algorithms (e.g. exchanges themselves) will go out of their way to obfuscate their trades.

Quant isn't an asset, it's short for quantitative lol. Just means I make trading algos.

Asset class place to place. Where I work, teams have free reign to trade pretty much anything they want. Most teams tend to have a more specific focus though, such as energy or FX.

Hi friend. I've been pondering this, and arbitrage trading on and off in recent months.

At one point I did code up a Java application which had very simplistic algorithms - basic basic buy if something is low, sell if something is high - applied to 10s or 100s of coins, spread out, ideally highly fluctuating coins I imagine.

Yesterday I was looking into the binance API. One thing you could do is code up a bot, and just run it against historical data - see if it would have profited or not. Try tweaking it, and .. take it from there.
