Which platform will be the biggest competitor of ETH 2.0?

>> No.20791220

solana or dot

>> No.20791222

>>20791174
LINK is the biggest competitor for everything next question

>> No.20791268

>>20791174
easily polkadot. there is alot of crossover .. in tech, community and developers, i think other projects will be a distant 3rd.

also this. and checked

Fantom easy.

I thought dot wasn't a strict head to head competitor?

I've always thought Algorand had the best shot though. I do think DOT and Cosmos could steal some of the work from Ethereum, in the sense that, they aren't trying to overthrow it, but they might be able to get some people away from Ethereum since they promote connecting blockchains. Basically you can have your dapp on there and it can connect to eth blockchain easily if needed.

Fantom isn't an eth competitor. You think a fruit fly(ftm) competes with a Lion(eth)

>> No.20792430

>>20791222
LINK is not a competitor for L1 solution, that's why it is a sure thing

>> No.20792455

>>20792064
Your lion cannot keep up. Fantom pretends to be the fly for now, but soon you shall see the dinosaur she really is. Compared to fantom, you are but a gnat ethfag

None of them, once ETH2 is out and working it's over for the competition.
It's like if Bitcoin had dynamicaly adjusted 1 minute blocks, there wouldn't be any usecasz for other payment coins.

This VC trash is literally the worst of them all in every aspects.

At this point none every shit does some kind of trade off and none is 10x better to chip eth domination and IF anyone thinks there are 10x better platforms they are cs illiterate.
Also grassroot dev community, mature tooling and half decade of distribution are moat everything pic related will need 5-6 years to cross.
Also there is like 2x more l1 chains inc than pic realted, its just dumb to invest in one IF any of them acually drinks eth milkshake you will have time to just market buy it and not crapshoot and pray for best like you gambling on pennystocks
>>20791390
Ofc they are competitors lol thing is after retail saw that "eth competitors" from 2017 are ghostchains in 2020, polka, ava and rest are picking "frendly chain" and "plug in eth" narrative this time around to distance themself from failures of last batch of l1 chains

AVAX

>>20792574
yeah I agree if ETH 2.0 is a huge success then most of them won't be needed. But we've heard about 2.0 for a few years and it got delayed time after time, they can't keep kicking it down the road and get away with it.

>> No.20794795

I'm actually glad so many ETH killers are coming out at the same time. What is that Solana, Avalance and Polkadot all at the same time. They will all be fighting for scraps trying to steal market share from ETH and it will fail. There are already so many eth killers trying to steal developers and talent that any they do manage to con over will realize they're working on a ghost chain with no one else around.

In terms of usage, Kadena.

In terms of valuation, likely ETH 2.0 remains highest as long as it delivers without a major fuckup (brand established). Polkadot and Harmony should be up there.

>> No.20794856

dot by far

Nothing.

My nigga Neyma form Unification says it right, when he basically says that basically what ETH is doing becoming money and running defi, nobody will really touch that. However, when it comes to non-money data tranactions, espcially high volume & high speed ones like IoT application, that's where the real catching up is to be done (since ETH niched in finance). There imo some of the best bets are LTO, FUND, maybe VET just because China nepotism pumps in the furure

>> No.20795078

>>20795044
smart take. Instead of trying to catch up to what ETH is doing, competitors should start building something that ETH currently does not offer due to tech limitations. Trying to catch up to ETH in DeFi is a losing game.
