20659696 No.20659696 [Reply] [Original]

im living in the reality of the "my mom is kicking me out" chainlink meme. i need to protect my links at all costs and need help on what to do. my friend said i could live at their house, no determined time or rent. they are now saying i need to go. I've done everything i could to make up for rent, like house chores, landscaping, repairing and fixing shit, driving them around for their errands, basically took care of the whole house, etc... I have no job, no savings, everything is in link and i dont want to cash any out. even if i do rent is so high the only affordable option is living in the hood plus there are is hardly anything for rent because of the this virus shit. and especially that sergey is holding a conference at the end of august, i cant imagine selling one link right now. i really need link to hit double digits the next month. how do i stay here as long as possible? do i have any protections? or if they call the cops will i be kicked out immediately? do they own the stuff i have here now? im scared link bros.

What's up op, fellow poorfag hobo linklet here, literally in the same boat. Got kicked out two days ago, left with basically nothing, have little ! money and don't know what to do.

I'm also considering camping since it's free and will provide time to think. Homeless shelters are alright, but camping is more relaxing. You don't want to get caught up in the mindset of most homeless, so camping better for that reason. Staying normal minded is key. Always have a secret place to chill, like a camp site. Shower in gyms, rec centers, hang out a libraries, use homeless resources but don't hang around.

I'm in Ontario Canada right now and may head west before winter if I don't get something together.

Best advice op is to not start panicking. Always have your private place to think, so you can emulate chilling in your room at mom's house. It's important to keep a calm mind.

Another thing I've learned, get on welfare or disability immediately. Find a room for rent for $500/month or less. IDK where you're at but in Canada welfare is around $720/month, disability around $1100/month. Use this money for rent, shop at food banks, places for poor people. I will chime in with more as I think of it. Keep a bag of trail mix in your backpack. Keep toothbrush and paste in a baggie, brush twice daily. Oral hygiene is very important while homeless. You can shower every 3 days, but not teeth. Good soled shoes, keep walking to a minimum as it buns calories and replenishing food can be difficult.
