I'm pretty much financially illiterate when it comes to crypto and never invested into something in my life.
So let's say i want to buy Chainlink or something. I make my account on some platform, say coinbase. I link my bank account, buy some low, like at 6€, wait for it to reach 10€ (yes europoor here), can i just sell it and cash out to my bank account again, or paypal?
Is there anything else i need to watch out for apart from reporting my profits if they surpass the free amount set by law in my country (600€)
I don't have the capital to go big into it so i'd just do it for some bucks on the side.

yes, you have the right idea
I don't know about European tax laws at all but in the US we pay a lower rate if we hold the investment longer than a year before a trade/sale
