While it's true that they put a hold on vecabrutinib, there's a few factors relating to it that I think need looking it. I'm not some medcuck, but it seems recognized that SNSS didn't get a good patient population for their phase 1 trials. Something relating to the C481 mutation.
But anyway, in their latest PR, SNSS was saying they were looking at mergers, acquisitions, or rights to Veca going to someone else who could get a better patient population or use it as a combo therapy with other drugs. So there's a lot of commotion that there could be a buyout in the works. There are a few pharmacyclics/Abbvie scientists on the payroll so there's rumors they could be the potential acquirer. So in terms of speculation I think this is a good time to buy in. I also got burned but I'm making good money on this current uptrend.
