Simeon Rusanov was sued for defamation in 2014 after releasing an in-depth report under the name Georgi Dimitrov, while working for "Simeon Research". He used the same pattern as the Chainlink report: imitating a professional research firm, spamming it across Twitter, and opening shorts before publishing the research.
