What is Equus?

Equus is a manual deflationary proof of stake (POS) token which aims to build a trust-less staking ecosystem. We want to build a self aware community who understands that it is very, very rare that investing in anything will make you rich in one day, instead our token is designed to reward holders daily, multiplying more the longer you hold.

How does Equus works?

Equus has created a Proof of Stake (POS) system which brings a return of 0.23% daily to holders once you have locked the tokens in FEL (“Firmum Equus lockup” - horse stable in Latin) totalling up to 7.13% in 31 days. The second month your tokens are locked in FEL this will multiply your daily return of 0.46%, totalling 14.26% in 31 days, this feature is called a “Stake Streak platinum” and “Stake Streak gold”.

This is the entry level staking reward system where you would get 0.23% daily in FEL. If you take your Equus out of FEL within 31 days you will incur a 10% tax fee for breaking your streak. 5% of the tax will be distributed to all SSP holders and 5% will be burned forever.

Once you have had your Equus in FEL for 31 days you will then get SSP benefits. This is where you will begin to get 0.46% daily equalling 14.26% return on your investment every 31 days. If you were to take your Equus out of FEL at this stage you will only incur a 5% tax fee, 2.5% will go toward all SSP holders and 2.5% will be burned forever.

STAKING REWARDS:

You will receive FEL tokens daily for staking, the math for how FEL tokens are mined dependent on quantity of EQUUS staked is still being worked on. In addition to this, depending on how long you keep your EQUUS staked, a mining multiplier will be added for when you come to mint your FEL tokens
