Why is DeFi so popular in this few months? Will it kick start the next bull run?

I think we are at the beginning here.

Although many Defi projects have already pumped, they are still relatively undervalued imo.

The amount of $ in ETH's Defi ecosystem will drive ETH up.

there will be a few defi projects in the top 10 soon anon. chainlink is just the first.

Think like hedge funds before 1990 (under 2B in management). This is Defi today.

Except now, anyone with a smart phone has access to the same financial instruments which we're provided by institutions before.

But ETH can't scale

It's only an issue when they want to cash out to real assets. IRL people will just dilute the supply thru stable coin keeping major coin relative aum/mcap ratio stable

Banks stopped giving anything decent for fiat.
No more savings bonds. CDs are a joke. Interest gained on savings accounts doesn't even cover fees.

Defi:
>Comes out with "staking"
ho-le-fuck

>> No.20524386

No, for real. GO back to people who have always ignored you when you talked about crypto and tell them that you have "An account that gives me x% interest" for what you get via rewards for staking. Without mentioning crypto.

Watch their faces. Its insane. Its a light show of jealousy.

I believe so.
Wasn't ETH/smart contracts the trigger of the last bull/alt run?

Link/Oracles can be the trigger of this one

Normies don't trust crypto because of price fluctuation.
Once crypto becomes more stable, they'll finally start to use it.

BTC volatility hasn't been this low in a while

Looks pretty stable to me

ETH cost $0.428 to simply send money back and forth right now, imagine if people actually need to interact with complex smart contract and when ETH price goes up.
