20509178 No.20509178 [Reply] [Original]

in a week im gonna have 100 to finally invest in crypto. I was there when bitcoin was 60$ and didnt invest. I was there again when it was 300$ and did nothing. I dont want to look back in a few years and say that I was there when it was 8000 and did nothing.

How would you guys advise to split those 100 between currencies? 50/50 with Link? is link a meme? pls halp

these 100 would be a monthly thing btw, im thinking about using crypto as a savings account.
Thoughts and experience guise?

I think BAT is primed for a run, I DCA into that every month now that LINK is so much higher
/biz/ hates it and you missed the no-brainer buy time the last 3 months though

why bat?

whats a dca?

isnt link supposed to be like 200$ in a few years or is that bullshit?

sorry for the ignorance but i never had the time to go fully into this which is why im not a millionaire yet. Are u rich btw?

No I am a mere wagie, lol. As for BAT, I just consider it undervalued. Has a disruptive anti-google narrative to it that could lead a speculative price inflation. By all means, buy LINK but it's going to be a long road to a decent stack at 100/mo

DCA = dollar cost average, just buying at a set (ex monthly) time regardless of price movements.

whats the best way to invest in crypto tho?
i installed coinbase a few months ago to buy btc when it was down but couldnt get past the bank confirmation bullshit. im going to the bank later to get this fixed cuz i cant wait anymore.
What do you recommend tho?
also have you been moderatly successfull in crypto as a wagie or is it just a hobbie? and thx for the feedback bro

BAT has a good team behind it and the brave integration was a great idea but they have failed to gain any significant traction in the last 3 years. if they can't break out of that browser and into others they are doomed to failure

what coins do you recommend then?
im thinking about investing all i can into like 3-4 coins to minimize risk

Use crypto.com, it’s a lot better than coinbase and buying fees are waived for the next 2 or 3 months

coinbase is easy, allows recurring payments but will take fees. But considering the value of LINK i'd eat it.

Big thing about LINK though is maybe 2-5 years timeline it will be 100x or 1000x. Do not thing swing trading and quick money is the goal.

Honestly I would say a portfolio of BTC/ETH, set aside some for moonshots if you would like to, and just put in a little bit each month which sounds what you’re doing. I am personally doing this right now with 70% Ethereum and 30% Bitcoin.

Also if you’re in Australia, I would recommend Swyftx

Most crypto exchanges are founded upon ETH. It’s a safe investment. Even if it only goes to 700.
