Anyone else feeling uneasy because all kinds of absolute shitcoins are pumping atm? ATH after ATH everyday on absolute garbage tier projects. Also projects that are old have been pumping as well. Seems like the bubble is gonna pop but when?

It all seems so strange since BTC is stagnant as fuck.

Where did the money come from? People saved from 2017 and now have enough to lose it again? My normie friend has been buying shitcoins I never even heard of and has been making 3x's and 4x's every few days. He's euphoric as fuck. This has to come down soon. Literally every shitcoins has pumped.

>>20495839
Me too but not in a good way. Might give a chance to accumulate more LINK is shit goes down somehow.

Where are these ATH pumps happening?

Orion Protocol, PNK, LINK, TrustSwap you name it. Uniswap scams are very hot at the moment.

I don't give a fuck about LINK per se. I'm just talking this non-stop shitcoin pumping has an endpoint somewhere.

>>20496832
Yeah I've been mostly holding LINK and just playing runescape. I didn't even realize this until he started messaging me.

As long as total market cap is below 500B this is nothing like 2017. Current market cap is still in bear mode.

Not feeling uneasy at all. Look around, as you said, old 17 coins are finally pumping after flatlining for years and new defi coins are pumping like mad. In my opinion, the 17 cycle was based on pure hype. Take Ada, stellar, and lend for example. All three pumped in 17 off of nothing but promise, at the time not much had been built. Now old plays are finally exiting distribution because they are finally coming closer to fruition. Ada for example, still no users yet, delayed as all hell, but they have been busy working and are at least rolling out or are planning to roll out some long awaited update or something. Still a long shot from being finished but its stoped flatlining. Now look at lend (aave) another coin that was pumped like everything else in the 17 hype cycle...lend unlike Ada has a much more developed product(s) and is actually being used (this is key) and has as a result, has pumped like fucking crazy and is revisiting its 17 high.
Now you also have a lot of new coins pumping like fucking mad. A fair bit off of hype but by and large most of them are defi projects. Defi in general is pumping because its actually being used, more and more money is locked up in defi platforms everyday after all.

So what do these 17 plays and defi have in common? Adoption, more or less. There all being used, are closer to being finished, or in the case of the brand new defi coins, are in a niche of this space (defi) that is seeing the most growth. In my opinion, the upcoming bull run will be different than the previous one. There will still be alot of fomo into flavor of the week hype coins but I think this next run will give far better returns to projects that have finally delivered on their promises. Many coins will die, and thats good.
Anyway, btc crabbing isnt too worrisome. I have no clue if it'll dip or rise from here first and I dont honestly care about the short term. We're post halvening and the hashrate looks great so long term btc is bullish imo and if it dips before rising I'll just buy more cheapies. In sum, id be really shocked if this was the top of the bubble and not the foot of it.

>Where did the money come from?
Stock market gains from stimulus checks, and sunken cost fallacy from people who lost their stimulus buying and hodl'ing bankrupt companies on RH
That's why lots of absolute shitcoins are pumping, whales are trying to b8 them in and some are dumb enough to pump whatever they find

I think only /biz/ had an ALT run, everything else in the cryptosphere is still in the bear market.
We started it through ESH+Idex which lead to Statera+Uniswap.
I doubt everyone would have changed from bitcoin to ethereum and to Uniswap so easily if there wasn't ESH and easy money to be made.

No you dirty newfag if you were in here at 017 you would know this is not the time for uneasy feelings and maybe not get burned, this is where you go ALL IN on any and every shitcoin that comes on your radar. This is how you make it, everything else leads to playing it safe, wetting yout tongue and waiting another 3-5 years until the next bullrun in case you can bear holding the golden keys and letting them go and you don‘t kys before. For me, i‘m hitching a ride on this one. Godspeed desu

There's a lot of liquidity out there seeking a return. With negative rates, they have to seek riskier and riskier investments for returns.
>printer go brrrrrr
We aren't seeing that in the form of consumer inflation just yet to the degree we may, but it is absolutely showing up in asset inflation. Why the fuck would Tesla be at something like a P/E of 320 when people aren't exactly going to be buying cars? There's a ton of printed money chasing limited assets seeking a return and to not be in dollars.
