CAN WE TALK ABOUT NEWS? WILL I MAKE IT? I NEED DIRECTIONS! I'm 20 years old and I just started school for my associates in information technology. I am not rich at all, I have a girl and then a daughter coming in about a month. Recently I decided to buy $100 USD worth of BTC every month for my daughter to have one day hoping it would be worth it. We got unemployment so we saved up $5,000 then because TODAY I got some of my school FAFSA money back $970. I went out on a limb of FOMO and bought $500 USD in bitcoin today. I have like $100 in other altcoins on coinbase you know. What should I do, fuck I really want to be able to provide something in my life to my family you know!

I screen cap these. Have you heard about the BEIJING GOVERNMENT released a 2020-2022 blueprint for becoming the BLOCKCHAIN HUB. Or Thailand already using central bank digital currency transactions with some business to move around money.

Pal. You should relax.

Purchasing bitcoin is never a bad thing. There will always be a use for it, and the value is likely higher than its trading at right now.

Just don’t get caught chasing 10x gains overnight. Slow growth.

I appreciate that It relieves some anxiety. I've watched crypto these last few years but couldn't really buy-in at that time. A few years ago someone sent me $10 in btc and I went over to binance and got maybe 100 chainlink then traded 99 LINK to XVG and LTC lmao. I forgot about it and when I saw $5 chainlink I thought I made it becuase I thought I had some link. I got into that bianace and it had a $6 VALUE. It was a learning experience I guess.

remember the 90/90/90 rule

90% of traders lose 90% of their portfolio in 90 days

its the slow investor that wins out, usually

the chances of you receiving insider knowledge is slim and even then you can't verify it. invest a portion of your income every month into btc, and remember long term as in like 5 years out

thank you, I didn't really expect any insider info though lmao.

Since so many people here are going to try and shill their pun and dump shitcoins I'll drop my two cents and tell you to stick with the big three: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Chainlink. Even if you ignore Chainlink and stick with Bitcoin and Ethereum, they're likely your best shot at generational wealth for your daughter. Crypto is "gambling" in the sense that nobody knows for sure where it's heading, but corporations are starting to implement blockchain, and crypto isn't going away any time soon.
Read the white papers for btc eth and link and decide for yourself. Move your Coinbase shitcoin money into one of them. Until you have thousands invested, sticking with one or two main tokens is probably the smartest move.
Good luck with your new family and your investments, brother.

I looked into PNK and I really see the potential. Can you really not buy on bitfinex if you're in the united states? How can I get around this
