Repeating,

My coworker who only knows of FAGMAN stock buying Tesla has my "buy" button itching. Don't fight the market flow, you're just going to get burned. /biz/ is full of autists who have no say in how the market goes - the normies do though. And trust me, normies are going to keep buying into Tesla. The only thing that will drive Tesla down is if it somehow reports negative earnings (which will still be drowned out by "oh that's not that bad for COVID performance") and even then it will probably still stay afloat from all the shorts & institutions buying in to rebalance according to S&P 500 inclusions (ETF rebalancing). Even if Tesla is fundamentally not a $2000 stock, the market conditions and "safe haven" mentality will drive Tesla to become a $2000 stock. I doubted myself the past few weeks but main street has a "Buy" rating on Tesla, so we should probably "Buy" as well.

The price only goes down when people sell. People buying "safe haven stocks" usually don't sell for years, if not ever and never.

You are correct. This is why we need to play around the news.

TSLA earnings are 7/22 9PM EST. 7/24 options expire well after that. The news will hit mainstream media no matter what. And you know how Elon delivered more units than expected? He's going to eek out a profit by the skin of his teeth and Tesla's inclusion to the S&P 500 will be finalized. The actual inclusion will be September but the market reacts to news well in advance. Fundamentals and TA isn't going to work semi-long term on stuff like Tesla because of how volatile the market is at the moment (ie. too many black swan events) - so the safe bet is probably riding the wave up until 7/24 then holding back til late August to see what happens.

I say this because CARES will run out in August and people won't have an extra $600/week to spend anymore. This could very well bring down multiple sectors and probably drag Tesla down with it too. Cash out before August is my play, but do ride the wave until then.

It's way too frothy out there anons. Get your hedges in order or stack up some cash to jump in during the next correction. If there's another round of trump bucks we could see the market continue to pump but when things start to come off normies will sell. When they lose over 50% of the value in their portfolio they will sell. When FAGMAN pops it will bring the entire market down with it.

Get your hedges in place now before it's too late. Everyone should have a hedge or a large chunk of cash for crisis buying.

Look at this chart of the Put/Call ratio compared with the CBOE SKEW index. Notice how low the Put/Call ratio is. This shows the insanely bullish sentiment right now. This is a contrarian indicator.
